Yes, let’s give the police extra powers to monitor Muslims, and to make it even easier we can make Muslims wear some kind of badge. And it’s probably best to have all Muslims move into small areas of towns, so that if there is a need to take care of Muslim problems we will know where they all are.
That’s all sarcasm, of course, but I’m just waiting for a politician to go there, and defend it in the name of “safety” for America. I never thought I’d see the day that we’d hear these things in America.

Trump has said some pretty stupid things this morning but I think Rafael Cruz really takes the cake. EVERYTHING out of his mouth this morning proves why he should never be within 500 miles of the White House. Good God, even his own family hates his guts!

Slowly re-reading that statement … and nothing. It means … nothing. Presumably, police in all localities throughout America are already empowered to patrol and (if necessary) secure ALL neighborhoods!! It’s the " … before they become radicalized" part that is his main point – and his point is a strawman. ‘POOF.’

Per Josh Marshall, they will be upgrading the system tonight. The system–along with The Hive–will go down at 10PM and resume “around 12PM.” Yay!! Let’s all hope it works!

Oddly the Brussels metro station that was bombed was in the majority Muslim neighborhood who’s spelling throws me. Malenbeek? At any rate it’s the neighborhood where Abdelsalam was born, grew up and until a few days ago, hid in plain sight. These people went after soft targets.
