So did even one reporter call him out on his gross hypocrisy and double standard? No, of course not. They just fawn over him, gleefully giving the racist a soapbox to spew his blatant racism and anti-science diatribes. Rather than confront it, the media is complicit in the mainstreaming of ignorance and hate.

I think it is good Cruz produces a lot of footage of inconsistent positions, most people will see and recognize the hypocrisy, and it will come back to haunt him later.

I hope the good folks at places like MoveOn.org and the like are keeping track. These little snippets will make for great campaign footage. Even throw in a pic or two of Crud with the Duggars, for good measure.

You would think Cruz might be pretty hesitant asking the Obama feds for assistance in Texas. I mean, wouldnāt sending boots on the ground there make it just that much easier for our side of the nation to take over Texas and those other unpatriotic red regions? Most, if not all, of his flip flops will be ignored by the media while the primaries are going on. If, however, he did manage to eek out a victory and win the nomination, that attitude will turn on a dime.
Which is why Cruz as the GOP candidate is so laughable. I believe he would struggle with every Democratic candidate/hopeful, not just Hillary. Not only are his positions rejected by the majority of the people, his history of changing fire fights just to be a rebel rouser will further alienate indys and āmiddle of the fenceā people, even in his own party.

Hey! Iāve got a solution to the āproblem of Texasā: Why doesnāt the US Military go into Texas and takeover a bunch of Wal-Marts and dig tunnels and build detention camps? And then take away all the āpatriotsā guns and totally take over Texas. That way those poor people wouldnāt have to worry about all these problems.

That wouldnāt be fair (anatomy aside), because Texas ā as did NY and NJ after Sandy ā really does need the money.
What is fair is for Ted and Gov Abbott and all the others to identify the federal benefits flowing to Texas they would cut in order to avoid increasing the deficit. Gotta be revenue neutral, right?
