This is great in my opinion. These people need to be called out on the policies they enact and face the people they are harming. Bravo- my hero!
Scotty better remember that teachers have really started snarling recently…
I love this teacher!
If only all officials who do reprehensible things could be forced to listen to the reactions of sensible, everyday people who must live with the results of those reprehensible decisions…
That is a gutsy young woman – good for her. I think we should all do the same if we have the opportunity. Let’s make the bastards afraid to show their faces in public.
Unfortunately, swamp creature’s feel no shame…
Almost too polite
I do not think I would be so restrained
Persistent polite confrontation at meal time. Good for the digestion.
If only all officials who do reprehensible things gave a fuck, but they don’t
Pruitt in response will increase his security an bring barricades when he dines out to keep the unwashed masses at a comfortable distance
You would have to be careful to not activate the goon squad that travels with him – unless you really want to make the news.
I don’t think for one minute they wouldn’t hesitate punch your lights out and cuff you
It’s how they roll
I don’t think Pruitt was afraid, but he might have been embarrassed. They can handle the enraged and in your face criticism and even weaponize it against us, but they crumble at polite matter of fact rebukes. Even Trumpers aren’t worked up over Dersh’s Martha’s Vineyard snub.
Pruitt will use this as an excuse for from now on only eating at Michelin starred restaurants away from the plebeyans.
That’s what Maxine said!
Maybe, but how many restaurants want to lose tables during their busy time. “I’m sorry Mr. Pruitt, but unless your security orders food and doesn’t scare my regulars, I’ll have to ask you to return after you resign and are out on parole.”
And purchasing his own jet at taxpayers’ expense, because it is so horrible when he travels through airports and flies on public flights, all those disapproving and mocking looks!
"and as a public servant, he should not be able to go out in public without hearing from the citizens he’s hurting,”
Well done Kristin, well done.
Mr. Pruitt put himself in harm’s way by eating at a restaurant frequented by the likes of teachers. In the future, he will lunch exclusively at much more expensive establishments, for security reasons. EPA will, of course, pick up the tab for Mr. Pruitt’s security.
And it appears to have been done respectfully in a civil manner.
…but apparently they do feel fear. He ran out of the place with his two bodyguards in tow.
