As to civility, Mink nailed it: she was polite, composed, and respectful to a man who deserves much less; I loved how she checked her notes from time to time.
As to any on the right who will feel compelled to whine about this, hearing from the public comes with the job. You want the power, and the perks (illegal or otherwise) you get what comes with it.

Good on her! People like Pruitt act as though they never have to endure consequences of their actions. I am overjoyed to see that individuals are making Trump appointeesā time in the public sphere uncomfortable.

When it is so OBVIOUS that McConnell and Ryan are not doing their job for so long and fully exposed by Trump, McConnell didnāt do his job during 8 years of Obama except obstruct and make the US fail, then the people need to call out our corrupt and ineffective officialsā¦especially when our voting system is rigged by Russians and the SCOTUS rulings against workers but for giant corporations and the rich (Citizenās United).
John Roberts and his court has done more to take away the trust in our voting system than anyone on the planet except Putin-Trump! When the voting system doesnāt work or matter, then the people will make things materā¦civil confrontation of crooked officials like Pruit and Zinke and DeVos better work because what comes next wonāt make America Great Againā¦it will tear America down just as Putin is hoping.

According to video footage, Pruitt did not respond but listened, drumming his fingers on the table.
Pruitt come across as a guy that only does things that benefit him. Heāll probably stay in as long as he can to milk it of all itās worth and only quit when the costs outweigh the benefits he is personally getting. He probably only sat there and listened because he was waiting for his credit card and receipt so he could write it off.

Having her child in her arms adds even more punch to her statements. Global climate disruption will make this child, and all people, suffer beyond what we can imagine.
I wonder if/when her school disciplines her for some breach of an inane policy. Letās hope her school is unionized if the district does anything more than just praise her.
ETA added climate; might as well add political, economic, military, and whatever trump crisis du jour.
