Discussion: Tea Partier Announces He May Vote For Hillary: 'Things Have Changed'

I got the vibe this was for real.

He’s morbidly obese and if there’s coverage for that condition under ACA which includes going to the gym and stuff it hasn’t been publicized. On the other hand so few of us are morbidly obese we don’t need to know.

I agree, he seemed sincere.

Unless, the Hillbillery Mafia got to him!

Whether this is sincere really doesn’t matter. Fact is a lot of people have used Obamacare not to retire, but form their own businesses, try something different, become independent of companies who abuse employees with no pay raises and increased workloads. Talk to anyone who has taken early retirement from a company and they will tell you that the ACA was a key factor in their willingness to take a chance on growing. I know. I am one of them.

GOP Klown Kar is going to get beaten like a gong in 2016. And that’ll be 16 years of a Democratic presidency, a bunch of new Supreme Court appointments (we hope!) and GOP demoted to permanent-fringe-kook status, as they further fragment and the snake eats its tail.

OH, I would have just loved that. as it was when I got sick in '87 the boss froze my salary and stopped with the annual min $5K bonus. Over the next 12 years my billing rates more than doubled and I saw not one penny. Yea with COLA at about 3% during those years not hard to take for 1 or 2 years but 12 that was a major hit. OH, he would mention that if I just worked harder, yea how hard did he want as I was usually the 1st or 2nd highest biller in the company.

He also said that he was a republican for 32 yrs and they’ve done nothing for him,now he can retire early and take care of his health. I don’t think it’s fake.

Wow… a Tea Party person who is teasingly close to coming into contact with reality and rational thought.

Who would have guessed?

YouTube user and gun channel host James Webb confessed to his viewers this week that he’d been grappling with uncertainty about who to vote for in the upcoming 2016 presidential election.

Aren’t we all? It’s not as though either party has a nominee yet, and the election is a year and a half away.

What? I thought that only minorities supported Obama because they’re lazy and don’t want to work?

I’ve been self-employed for almost a decade and was uninsured most of that time. In Kentucky, insurance rates dropped big time when we expanded Medicaid under Obamacare and opened our own exchange. Insurance companies knew they’d be getting a LOT of new customers, so they could cut rates. I don’t get subsidies, nor did I go through the exchange, I was just able to take advantage of insurance companies slashing rates and finally, FINALLY have health insurance.

This is pretty clearly irony. I don’t have to work because of Obamacare, talk about dog whistles…

Maybe the fever is finally beginning to break…

This looks fake to me…I get to retire at 50 and not work anymore. Huh?

At the same time, I know at least five people that were hard core against Obamacare, one even had speaking gigs on it, that now would be royally screwed if it gets repealed. You know that unexpected heart problem that shows up when you’re in your 30’s can screw you over for life.

Yes, you do. Him and millions like him.

Unless you want Scott Walker or such as President.

It’s pretty obvious this guy will use far more healthcare than he paid for, thanks to the ACA eliminating pre-existing conditions as a reason to price out of reach or deny a policy.

Yup, but at least he is figuring out who’s helping him, and it ain’t the Republicans.

Interesting that TEA PARTIERS want SMALL GOVERNMENT
and people OFF the govt dole.

Seems likely that this guy, in order to afford health insurance,
gets a government subsidy.
Sure, I don’t know with certainty, but he implies that.
It seems apparent.

That to me is a real Tea Partier
like those Tea Party members
that carry placards
ā€œGet the GOVERNMENT’S HANDS OFF MY MEDICAREā€

He look attractive.
(head in hands)

Seriously this guy should drop some weight fast.

In that guys case reaching for a beer might trigger a heart attack, running certainly would be a risky activity.
