Bernie was always damaged goods. His actions (and those of his followers) at the 2016 Dem Convention were absolutely inexcusable. I know what I saw and heard.

Those actions had not been paid for.

And he had the nerve to resurface and divide in 2019

Why?

Apparently, Bernie is too old for her.

Perhaps it’s strictly business.

I remember when Mikey said that…

Booing John Lewis and attacking him repeatedly the way that they did was nothing less than vile. I’ll never forget them trashing an American hero who damn near died for my rights.

No earth shattering reason. I just didn’t expect her to leave Bernie.

While Bernie sat on his hands. That’s pretty much a deal breaker for me.

Agreed. I got to go to the Brooklyn debate at the end of the primaries because my wife was singing the anthem. We were already for Hillary, but when we saw the anger and vitriol of the Bernie Bros who shouted and screamed when parents of Sandy Hook cheered for Hillary, I got my first glimpse of what was to come.

Bernie, and all his ilk, hate the Democratic Party more than the GOP. They refuse to accept that anyone could disagree with anything they have to say and still be worth hearing. He is the worst thing to happen to American politics other than Trump.

Yep, he should’ve come out and immediately shut that shit down. It should’ve been made crystal clear with the fiercest emphasis that mistreating John Lewis was completely unacceptable, but what did he care?

Mine too. I remember my Dad being refused service…and he fought on D+1 (1944)

I was not happy that so many in the Bernie camp took a scorched earth approach to anyone who displeased them by calling him out on anything or daring not to support him. The John Lewis episode was my last straw with trying to find reasons to consider him over Hillary.

And they’re still doing it!
I’m interested to hear your take on Biden and the black community and where you think he stands.

Displeased is the absolutely correct word here. The policy issues were less pronounced than the cult issues.

She left the Sanders campaign in late June 2016 abruptly but said “she was not let go and that leaving the campaign was her decision.” She’s been on CNN since

I’m not taking issue with what you said, but I just think it’s relevant to point out that the campaign was over at that point. The last primary was June 14, 2016 although the primary had been effectively over for months.
