Discussion for article #230306
Probably a Gillespie supporter.
hahahahha. Oh. That was sorta racist.
This is about the 5th or 6th story today that supports my postulation that few people are actually capable of responsible Twittering. Twitter for Twits?
"Every white girl’s father’s worst nightmare Or Nah?
Wait…I’m confused…have we now moved on from using “blah” to describe them to using “nah”? I thought that was their word now. So confusing.
Twitter: Freud’s little helper.
It’s a handy gauge for judging folks ability to reason.
Also why I refuse to tweet.

The “or nah” is why I have to give this story major sideeye. Nah just means no. There are also a few hip hop songs out right now that ask “Or Nah”. Folks will post a picture of a guy or a woman with the caption, “Would you hit it, or nah?” All that is to say it’s kind of a black thing, so I have a hard time believing anyone was doing anything more than making what I think is a kind of hilarious joke. In Teabagistan that IS a white father’s worst nightmare. That picture essentially captures what ALL of this shit, from government shutdowns to opposition is Obamacare, is really all about.
Context matters.

That’s a lot of missing context. And the person who retweeted it didn’t stick around to provide it, so we are left not knowing if the context wasn’t provided because “duh, keep up with the internet or keep off” or because “context?”.
Parsimonious show-off.
Nothing racist here.
Only 5 or 6??? You haven’t been watching for very long.
I am convinced that no good can come from sending tweets. The best one can hope for is that nothing happens as a result of one’s tweet. But of the things that actually can happen, they are all bad, every single one of them.
I’m shocked: Virginia is so cosmopolitan.
It’s done wonders helping me sort through the stupid using a lot less characters than a blog entry.
The downside to it - WAY more racists and jackasses who like to threaten and harass women. Mostly because the Twitter management and upper echelon are all white, male, and pretty douchey so they ignore complaint reports.
BUT…you can get some really good information on subjects. Twitter has been the go-to for actual citizen journalism on Ferguson while CNN and MSNBC have been touching their soft parts in a corner.
You get out of it what you put into it, really. Kind of like this joint.
Funniest best blog I’ve read, had to laugh, perfect in every way.
Woody Hayes? Izzat you?

Oh come on! It’s the students protesting–and people like you–who are the true racists. You’re making this an issue of black and white and skin color and all that when it was was just a matter of…a matter of…well I don’t know exactly how to put it. All I know is the tweet had nothing to do with race!!
Are you fucking insane or simply ignorant? This has EVERYTHING to do about race. WTF.
Do I get a third option?
