But there are…
Once again, Trump comes across as a (much nastier) version of Chance in Being There.
Not going one step down that path. And neither should anyone else.
She literally held a "conference’ last week to discuss “cyber bullying”, which was nothing but a public mockery of the entire issue, given who her husband is.
She is just as smug and self centered as all of them, and like all of them, has never paid any price for her misdeeds (lifting Michelle’s speech…whole paragraphs word for word remind anyone??). She earned every bit of the humiliation she is receiving, and about 10x more.
please tell me what this man does
He’s an innovator. Inventor of the three day work year. No word yet on when it starts.
We need full muck coverage!
That struck me too.
There was also something that I can’t quite put together that’s kind of like a vein of familiarity that runs through each of these stories. He just pounces and assumes sex or physical contact before there’s been any green lights to show she’s actually interested. He skips over even the kind of basic intimacy or rapport most men would look for before making a move. Each story goes something like, “We were talking and laughing one moment and then he was trying to have sex the next.” It always sounds like we’re missing a piece of the story. I think that’s because he’s such a predator than even when a woman’s willing he’s still got to do this dominating, predatory thing.
Right. And he has the far reaching Mueller criminal investigation going on. Which is now reaching deep into money laundering in Trump Org.
He has Stormy. And McDougal. And a whole host of others that will surely follow.
He has Summer Zervos ( and a whole other host behind that), which has just this week been approved by the courts to go forward.
He has emoluments cases going forward…both domestically and internationally, which again, were just approved by the courts this week.
Each and everyone of these is probably lethal to a Presidency on its own. He now has to deal with ALL of them, at the same time, with one freaking lawyer. And the unraveling hasn’t even come close to stopping.
Just another reason why any fiction publisher would have turned down this entire story years ago. Not only is too far fetched, the ending is too obvious, way too soon.
Damn this is going to be an interesting week. It is all unraveling into tatters.
This may also explain a few things about the GOP in general now.
What was that phrasing Nash used in the film A beautiful Mind?
“Terrified… mortified… petrified… stupefied”
Lady Justice and Lady Liberty.
It is beginning to take on Game of Thrones complexity. Will need a wall chart stringing all the connections together.
But I have questions about all of that unprotected sex.
Indeed. If I recall correctly, Republicans were adamant that Hillary needed to apologize to Monica. Which seemed to me to be the one apology in that whole sorry mess that didn’t need to be made.
Also, Chelsea caught a tremendous amount of grief simply for existing. The “jokes” commentators thought they could make were horrible. I am glad that Barron has not had to deal with it, but I doubt very much that it is because of a new-found civility in our public discourse.
Good guess.
Almost assuredly, that’s the case. Look, sexual gratification is DEEPLY wired into our psyche. When the psyche is as damaged as his is with NPD, the sexual gratification needed, but also appease the NPD, otherwise, it doesn’t work.
This may seem conflicted with his spanking fetish, but actually its not. At some level, he still sees himself in control, and thus can play out the twisted issues of his childhood in relative safety. This particular dynamic is incredibly common in the BDSM world among male submissives.
Its also why he has no compunctions about forcing the NDA on her at the time he did, despite the spanking issues she is clearly a participant in. He feels he is in control anyway. Indeed, his ego is probably egging him on at some level TO make her sign the NDA, just to satisfy that level of emotional need he has.
But its that tension…that self loathing/embarrassment…that has made him the target of blackmail. Twisted psyche still trying to work itself out in some of the basest levels…ie, sexual gratification…deeply embarrasses the NPD level of his ego = “Hello Komrade, Lets Talk about these photos from Moscow, shall we?”
As we were discussing the other day, Cobb works for the White House-not trump personally. So I believe his client is the office of the presidency and maybe trump’s acts as president (relating to Russia and obstruction of justice). Maybe that stretches to emoluments lawsuits but money laundering and hush money to mistresses and campaign finance violations would seem to be well beyond his purview. Not that this White House cares much about separating personal and public business
Well this was in the 2000’s and the adult industry set up standards and screening requirements (every 14 days) in 1998.
h/t CSI story checked validity on internet
no joke. Plus you know that intelligence briefing is over 11:45, latest.
My thoughts, too, The not-so-steamy details are not what will cause the most trouble for Trump. It’s alleged threats and bullying that will bite both Trump and Cohen. And if Mueller is looking into the matter, well…
The one and only worthwhile highlight from the much ballyhooed Stormy Daniels edition of 60 Minutes? This exchange during Steve Kroft’s interview with the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo:
Kroft: How many steps does it take you to get down the court?
Antetokounmpo: You mean the whole thing?
Kroft: Yes.
Antetokounmpo: Six.
