This really canât be said enough. Too many of us assume that because weâre extremely dialed into a story that everyone else is at least somewhat aware of it. Theyâre just not. A not small number of Americans just arenât paying attention and have no idea whatâs going on. Theyâd just like for everyone to shut up about politics and get along. Many donât have the foggiest idea how politics effects their lives or that it even does. These are the people waking up to this story, forming an opinion, and deciding who they believe. They are the audience here.

A very key point, which you kind of downplay.
Trump is facing numerous lawsuits and completely different fronts now. He doesnât have the lawyers to address all of them. And is furiously in the process of dismantling his administration tooâŚat at time when the DOW in freaking out over his trade wars.
This is the guy who has lost all his power pieces, while removing none of his opponents, his King is surounded, and is launching suicide attacks with his pawns. Those of us who play chess regularly or semi regularlyâŚhate this guy. Because they usually end up knocking everything over (including your beer) when the inevitable actually happens.

One thing I found very credible: she said she didnât even negotiate the $130K because she felt pressured/intimidated, she just signed it. This is a woman whoâs been negotiating contracts for many years. Sheâs hardly a delicate flower unused to the rough and tumble. That she didnât negotiate what has been noted by all to be a small amount under the circumstances strikes me as believable that she truly felt threatened. She was out of her element and steam-rolled. I didnât know that until I saw her interview.

At one point Daniels is repeating a conversation she had with Trump in which he calls her Honeybunch (Honeybun? something of that nature). Presuming that is an endearment that he uses in his âloveâ life and at some point used with Melania, I thought of her dying a little more down there at M-a-L. If I had to guess, sheâs not enjoying anything about this presidency.

That particular detail will play really, really bad with his base over the long term however.
It may not show up in the short term, but as other problems (economic for instance) start mounting up, they will come back to that and drop him in droves.
Grabbing them by the pussy is one thingâŚbending over to get spanked on orders from the woman you are paying off to be quiet? Thatâs quite another.
And watch for it. As others inevitably come forward once her NDA is broken, a similar pattern will emerge.

Sekulow hasnât even really worked as a lawyer in years. He made his name on a handful of religious freedom cases that the ACLU would have just as easily taken up, and then lost a bunch when he tried to push it further into state-supported religion territory. After that he turned the ACLJ into a personal slush fund for himself and his family (sound familiar?). Heâs primarily there to be on TV, I highly doubt he would be doing any actual legal work.
Ty Cobb is still there (for the moment), heâs the only actual lawyer left.
