Discussion: Spicer On Military Action In Iran: Trump 'Doesn't Take Options Off The Table'

Wouldn’t it be something if Putin is trying to bait us into a war with Iran in order to decimate our military the same way the Americans more or less destroyed the Russian military by providing aid to the afghans.

Edit: scrolling through rogue potus saw these.

Gosh Seanie…you must really really WANT this job. You lie, you smear, you pretend AND you only wear the dark suits Trump wants you to. Does it HURT to give up so much of yourself? It just doesn’t seem the ‘American way’…

“He doesn’t take options off the table, but he understands the impact of something like” military action."

That impact would be huge profits for Lockheed and Halliburton, for starters. I can’t imagine a scenario where this administration wouldn’t want war with Iran.

So this is why Flynn used the vague warning “on notice” to Iran? Because nuking them was still on the table?.. We are so fucked.

In fact, Iran did not violate the express terms of the nuke deal, though it may very well have violated its spirit.

Earlier in the briefing, Spicer suggested leaving all options on the table was Trump’s deliberate strategy to keep adversaries guessing.

The only guessing Trump’s adversaries are engaged in is speculating on just what kind of fool he is.

Speaking of military actions, can we now call the raid in Yemen, "Trump’s Benghazi " ? Or at least, Benghazi Redux ? Will we see Trey Gowdy and Jason Chaffetz call for hearings into Trump’s failure to properly plan and expose our military personnel to grave danger, and, in this case, death. Stay tuned.

“The President’s been very clear,” Spicer said during the daily press
briefing. "He doesn’t take options off the table, but he understands the
impact of something like" military action."
…
Oddly I don’t think so, Sean. I really don’t. I don’t think trump gets how that would cause destabilization in the entire Mid-east, a shooting war in which 100’s of our troops would die, not to mention our image in the world.

You folks really are dim bulbs

He does frequently, however, lose the table in either a divorce or bankruptcy settlement.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think war with Iran is a good idea.

Trump understands the gravity of Iranian sailors flipping the bird to American sailors compared to starting a war over it. Clearly the latter option is a measured response to being told by multiple Iranian seamen to “fuck off” and “go home.”

OT but…
Just heard on CNN:
McCain was asked “do you think funding for “the wall” is a viable otion?”

“NO”

“Well (the reporter paused)…Why not?”

“Because…it isn’t a viable option”
…
I had no idea that John McCain was a comedian.
