Great idea. TPM should do it. Get Baldwin to do Trump, Tom Hanks to do Comey. Release them with the note that they are OUR IDEA of what happened, and if anyone has anything to dispute them, now is the time to release. You canā€™t beat something with nothing. This would be something. They got nothing.

Please. Thereā€™s no need to discuss this as an actual question. If there had been tapes that contradicted Comey in anything, in any way at all, no matter how minor, weā€™d have heard them already. There are no tapes and there were never tapes. You have a careful professional who keeps records of things, particularly weird meetings with crimey Presidents, versus the most brazen liar in the world. No tapes.

I think that it more likely that there are tapes, and they prove Comey right.

But even if there was a clunky sentence on the part of Comey, I think thst they would still keep it quiet. Tjay know once they admit there is one tape, all of them will be subject to review.

Trump is likely to stupid to know this, but his smarmy lawyer does.
