Etiquette and concern for job security and credentials dictates reporters maintain a measure of restraint and decorum. But just once I’d like a reporter to retort to Spicer “Look, we all know if Trump’s lips are moving he’s lying, how do you look at yourself in the mirror in the morning?”

They will be hand-carried from Honolulu by the same crack team of detectives Trump sent there years ago to find President Obama’s “real” birth certificate. Alternatively, they are being guarded by the team OJ sent out to find the “real killers.” What a load of crap; I sure hope Spicer has a good father confessor.

This makes what, the 1,000th white rabbit Trump has successfully released for the news hounds to mindlessly chase. Perhaps, he should get some kind of prize for reaching this milestone! Of course, there’s no tape. If there were, the most beneficial time to produce it would have been immediately after Comey testified under oath. That’s how we know one doesn’t exist, at least not one containing anything which would contradict Comey. Yet, this Trump rabbit has already served it’s purpose of successfully diverting the press from focusing on substantive news.

There are tapes that conttradicted Comey they’d be released in a New York minute. On the other hand, to say that “Comey better hope that there are no tapes” while knowing that that there aren’t any is nothing short of naked witness intimidation and or attempted obstruction of justice.
As for myself, I’m just waiting for Trump to say that although the tapes dont exist anymore, he had the foresight to make contemporaneous notes of what they contained (because he knew that Comey would lie about the meetings). Fortunately for the American people, he gave all his notes to Jeff Sessions who will swear to the Senate that Comey lied.

This has always amazed me about the shallowness of the political pundits. I can’t recall anybody ever asking Trump before, during or after the campaign, “What amazing things did your Hawaii investigators uncover?” Just like when McCain said in 2008 that he knew where Bin Laden was, and nobody has since asked him why he didn’t share it with the incoming Obama administration. The “liberal media” is so pathetic.

This. Just keep beating on his minions about his inability to tell the truth. When Spicer says he’ll do it, remind him that Trump said he’d release his taxes and never did. Ask Spicer why we should believe anything he says about releasing information when he has time and again lied and lied.

We have to take Preshitident Cloacamouth at his word. Given his past history, I think Cloacamouth has the tapes. Very likely, Preshitident Cloaca had recording devices in Trump Tower and used tapes to blackmail business associates and various women he sexually assaulted and to preserve his encounters with pee-hookers. This is why he accused President Obama of taping him. I think he is amoral and incapable to enormous evil.
He could be honest and say what we already know.that there are no tapes but that would be too easy.lies and obfuscation seem to be easier and less politically risky given his supporters will believe anything that they say.
Fear not, the tapes are there at the end of the rainbow right next to the leprechaun’s gold…
