I can’t tell you how sorry I am that I read any of this.
She is right about one thing, there is a conservative war on women in this country. The war has deep roots in Christian conservatism and is merely this generation’s edition of the war started thousands of years ago by priests who worked very hard to convince themselves and everyone else that God is a male and that women are somehow inferior creatures.
“I’d like to take my period blood that I no longer have and write, ‘You’re all assholes.’ I’d like to smear it all over some people’s faces,” she said.
Yes. Well. Self expression was always a bit of a struggle for Rosie.
I like Rosie but this has to be one of the worst “hit backs” I’ve seen. Just awful.
Classy lady.
She is a Truther Nut too, just not a bright woman.
She is a comedic actress that needs a script and director. I recall A League of Their Own, she was quite funny in that.
I’ve always liked her and I think she’s right.
Trump and his running mate??
I’m no Trump fan, but Rosie O’Donnell is a mentally unbalanced woman. It’s always upsetting to see her devolve publicly.
My recommendation was that she should get out while she could right after the debate-like thingy.
I still believe this. She is doing herself nor her kind any good by sinking into the pit of slime that is Donald Trump. Does she really think that this foul retort will gain support for her or that Trump won’t turn it back against her? This is what being a disservice means.
Women have huge options of how to exercise their majority and how to take what is rightfully theirs. This ‘bloody’ war is a losing battle.
Women hold the key and the lock. They merely have to realize it and use their natural born strength.
Men play tough but cave quickly during times of 'need".
Well this is really advancing the narrative…
Remember when she was on ‘Roseanne’ and it was funny?
Yeah…I’m having problems remembering that far back, too.
In her meta-analysis, she is right, but this is a stupid, self-defeating way to make her point. More about her showing off and running her mouth than actually trying to educate anyone.
There are a number of liberals I never want to see stepping up to the mic to articulate the progressive side in a debate. Rosie is at the top of that list.
To be honest, no. How often was she on Roseanne?
Two remarkably annoying people. They deserve each other.
Also good sidekick to Meg Ryan in Sleepless in Seattle.
No, I don’t remember her on Roseanne. What character did she play?[quote=“littlegirlblue, post:19, topic:25044, full:true”]
