FFS. The man has Bone Spurs, you can’t expect him to charge into every single fire fight.

Yeah, Cadet Bone Spurs who, in his imagination, would run into the school building unarmed to confront an active shooter.

I was thinking artillery, like tanks, howitzers, etc. But you make good points. The VA has really been on this hearing-loss issue in recent years. Repeated TBIs also shorten lifespan by as much as 20 years.

This actually makes my point. His approval is relatively strong because most folks think about the economy and are not aware of most of the collusion news, or about how his trade war is going to bite us down the road.

We have at least 4 of these goons in our town, and I always think “ya know, even conservatives have COPD - why don’t you go and dump litter at Arlington or something equally productive.”

These guys are just road-raged jerks who finally have a cause. Along with pouring black smoke into the air that their parents/wives/children breath, they also cut people off in traffic, drive on the shoulder, etc.

However, the 45% approval rating isn’t just about “fuck you”. That 15% above the 1/3 Goober Line actually think that Trump is doing a good job. They think that because they don’t watch much news beyond the jobs and stock market reports. They have very little information on Meuller’s investigation and they don’t know or care enough about international trade and diplomacy to understand what Trump’s trade wars, anti-ally moves, and aggressive rhetoric are going to do to our economy in the long run.

Great points. It’s easy to forget that not everyone is as engaged in current events. I sit in front of a laptop all day, so it’s easy for me (and people like me) to absorb news, information, and commentary almost in real time. It’s hard to do the same when most of your workday is spent in a classroom, music store, dentist’s office, construction site, delivery route, etc. And when people are done with a long day’s work, they might not be all that interested in catching up on the latest regarding Rick Gates, Scott Pruitt, or even the Mooch.

But its not. He has been underwater since he stepped into the WH. You only think its relatively strong because the press is painting it that way…in terms of the narrow range his approval facilities between. In terms of other Presidents, his approval rating is actually quite weak and always has been.

Yes, it is.
