However, this is serious crap. Fox has done more than its “fair” share of scaremongering through the years, but it had better damn well tamp it down before the monsters on Maple Street take matters into their own hands.

The is classic FOX covering their asses. They can point to Shep Smith as the ‘hard news’ portion of their programming showing that they’re responsible broadcasters and not just a tool of the conservative movement. Then they go back to all their ‘opinion’ shows for the other 95% of the time that gin up the scare tactics and strictly walk the party line.
