States’ Rights ring a bell Jeffy?

I think I speak for pretty much all of California when I say:

Go recuse yourself. Or words to that effect.

At least if the U.S. invades California its citizens can meet the aggression with up to date weaponry. Sacramento needs to start stocking up on tanks and Stinger missiles. Give the bastards a black eye they won’t soon forget. An AK-15 in every home I say. C’mon Jeffy, tell your boys to start going house to house on this one.

comments he made while in Sacramento Wednesday when he called California elected officials “radical extremists.”

Classic projection, Jeff.

Btw, that photo of him looks like he is doing an impression of McKinnon’s impression of him on SNL. Uncanny.

Heh! Sounds like Jerry Brown’s calling Sessions a liar got to him.

This is not the first time that the Justice Department has sued a state. During the Obama administration, the department filed a civil rights lawsuit against Georgia for segregating students with disabilities from classrooms and sued North Carolina over a bill to restrict bathroom use for transgender citizens. Mr. Sessions withdrew that lawsuit.

“At a time of unprecedented political turmoil, Jeff Sessions has come to California to further divide and polarize America,” Mr. Brown said in a statement. “Jeff, these political stunts may be the norm in Washington, but they don’t work here. SAD!!!”

“The administration is just angry that a state has stood up to them — one that embraces diversity and inclusivity and is the sixth-largest economy in the world thanks to the hard-working immigrants who want to become American citizens,” said Kevin de León, the leader of the California State Senate who wrote one of the sanctuary city laws named in the suit.

Does Mutt Sessions realize that he is not General Counsel for the KKK, or the Confederate states, but rather works for the government of the United States ? It appears to me he is desperately trying to get back in the good graces of Hair Trump, who is still miffed at him for recusing himself from the investigation of Russian interference in our election. This lawsuit is clearly a political attack on a blue state. So much for " States Rights ".

This article concentrates on what the Keebler Elf had to say to Fox News and not enough of what elected California pols had to say. So I’m quoting in posts what I’ve read elsewhere. This is about what Mayor Libby Schaaf did in Oakland. She’s got a huge set of cajones.

https://www.usnews.com/news/us/articles/2018-02-26/oakland-mayor-warns-of-immigration-raids-in-rare-move

The mayor of Oakland warned residents of large-scale raids by immigration agents in the San Francisco Bay Area, marking the latest escalation of tensions between California officials and the Trump administration.

Calling it her “duty and moral obligation” to warn families, Mayor Libby Schaaf’s unusual alert this weekend also follows months of criticism of her decision to allow Oakland police to direct traffic during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in August.

Ironically, California is saying: “Someone needs to stand up and say ‘No’ to racist DOJ”…

Gotta love Jerry Brown and other elected Democrats in California, as well as the people who support the right thing. Go, you radical left-coast lovers of freedom and equality.

(I’m kind of surprised and disappointed Sessions didn’t call you all “a bunch of dirty pot-smoking hippies”)

How do you feel about fruits and vegetables? California grows a sizable majority of many American fruits, vegetables, and nuts

If Trump and Sessions really want to get all the attention of Californians in greater LA and the Bay Area, all they need to do is support the breakup of that state into two with all the water resources in the East and North controlled by the new redblooded American state and the 25-30m liberals left with the western part of the state. Take control of their water and threaten to make them go dry and the fight will come out of the actors and hippies. They will end up begging for Trump’s benevolent mercy. All Trump has to do is get involved in California’s water politics. What could go wrong?

Does Keebler know that?
