Seriously, it is amazing and horrifying to listen to Clint Watts describe how the Russians do this, particularly how they target individual voters with fake news and how they have used Trump for many years to repeat their fake news.

Why is that interesting? Jill Stein was a meaningless player in what has been going on with Russia hacking our election.
Listen to today’s testimony of Clint Watts and you’ll have a better understanding of what the Russians are doing all over the world to hack elections. It is frightening stuff.

The parallels with Watergate are dumb; this is MUCH MUCH BIGGER. Watergate didn’t involve foreign powers, it was limited in scope. This is a multi-tentacled octopus.
I’ve been waiting for some journalist to find out that she, like Mike Flynn, was a paid actor in the 2016 debacle. Her ballot presence was way too convenient in those swing states where Drumpf won by less than he total vote haul. There was even some gossip about an agreement between Drumpf and her that he complained about.

Remember those swing states that put Trump in the WH by such a narrow margin? In every case, the margin that Trump had over Clinton was smaller than the vote count for third party candidates.

It’s not necessary for either of them to have been working actively with Russia to prevent Clinton from winning. All that was needed was an aggressive Russian troll campaign supporting them as anti-establishment while denigrating Clinton.
Unfortunately, Sanders supporters were targeted by Trump’s accomplices in Eastern Europe and Russia.
The Russians don’t care. Their aim was to fill the entire campaign cycle with baseless propaganda. Rubio was the perfect venue for that mission. Ryan, too.
I find it most peculiar how Republicans are so easily manipulated to fall for fake news and Russian propaganda. Not surprising at all. Just peculiar.
