It’s a general problem, not that TPM shouldn’t move to solve it. You see typos and other errors of sloppiness in the websites of the most august, prestigious outlets. Everyone’s working too hard and too fast. But when it confuses readers it’s gone much too far.

This article is easily understandable.
I DO think it’s a good idea if each reporter has either an easily accessible standardized email or at least a TPM “handle” to avoid giving the impression that Twitter is Where The Action Is.
I appreciate the (3 or 4) reporters I’ve sent messages to, and their responses.

They can’t get anything done because they know all the shit they say to get elected, if ever enacted, will screw voters so bad they will lose the next election and never be able to run on it again. They really need just enough democrats to keep them from getting stuff passed so they can say they tried, but Ds blocked it and they can run in the next election says this time they hope to get it passed.

Reminds me. About ten years ago I read, I think in WashMonthly, about a university press book a southeast red-state college prof wrote detailing all the repeatedly broken promises Republicans had run on, over and over again, since Lincoln, or almost. With, at that time, abortion being the latest example. I sure wish I knew the title.
