“Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has spoken positively about Pruitt, saying in January that Pruitt “has the right experience for the position.””

I fucking LOATHE that coal-whore bitch. So fucking infuriating.

And almost more infuriating: who the fuck did he say that to and why wasn’t he asked “and, in your opinion, what experience is that?” as a follow up question? FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL

I guess Senator Collins didn’t get the memo. The fact that Pruitt has sued the EPA multiple times is regarded by Republicans as one of his selling points.

They’re not real fond of the agency, and they’ve long ago forgotten that they once created it.

Yeah, but isn’t she up in 2018? She’s going to be a consistent waffler until then and one of our best bets at flipping votes with strong pressure tactics.

So, basically, Manchin and Collins are swapping votes in yet another matinee showing of Village Kabuki Theater.

Collins: concerned … about his record of suing the agency he has been tapped to lead.

Trump: WTF. He is the best suited to kill it. We need small government where people wear masks on the way to work. Just like China. We will create jobs in Mask Factory for all my White Supporters.

It really is disturbing how the Republicans are going along with Trump. He’s obviously going to be toxic, as the controversies pile up and the incompetence becomes even more apparent. Are the Republicans so afraid of their insane right base that they refuse to stand up for the things that most of them know are right? I suspect they care more about power and party than doing what is right for the nation, and they really need to be voted out of office and replaced by someone (Democrat or Republican) who will stand up for the nation’s principles.

The Democrats have an opportunity to tie every Republican to Trump in 2018, and compete in every single race at all levels. With the outpouring of people that are angry at the system and want to run for office, they really need to organize and take the government back from the crazy right wingers.

You’re granting the majority of House and Senate Republicans far too much credit. Their understanding of right and wrong, much like their President’s, begins and ends with, “Does it profit me?”

Yes they should do so, but never bet against the Democratic party to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) has spoken positively about Pruitt, saying in January that Pruitt “has the right experience for the position.”

Given the opportunity Manchin would support Josef Mengele as Surgeon General. “He has the right experience for the position.”

Neither vote means shit so they can show their constituents what they want to see

I guess what I don’t get is, “What irreplaceable advantage is Manchin getting from being a Democrat?” Why doesn’t Manchin just become a Republican? I mean, he’s a duplicitous miscreant. If he switched, he’d only be a miscreant.

unless she’s bringing 3 other Republican Senators with her it’s just more bullshit grandstanding from Madame Useless…

Well at least he might be a moderate Republican, there are not any of those

King’s running in '18.

LePage might run too (revenge against King) and there will be a Democrat running as well.

Susan Collins is the worst of the worst. She goes to McConnell to ask for permission which is given since they can afford to lose 2 GOP votes. She, along with McCain and Graham, are poison. Every time the MSM claim they stand on principle they fold if it comes down to their party vs their country. They pick party over country every time.
