I wonder if Trump might eventually be impeached by his own party. A lot of them would rather have Pence anyway.
I came here to say the same thing. He and Susan Collins etc also are already on Omarosa’s list. You don’t have to vote with the Democrats on everything, but giving Chuck Schumer the reins just might save our country.

Say what you want about Lindsay, but I think he’s one of the best Republican Senators left. He helped pressure Mitch McConnell to pass lifetime healthcare for 9/11 first responders that Jon Stewart strongly advocated for. Also, he said in another interview today that he’s vehemently opposed to eliminating the filibuster.

In addition, Rand Paul said he would vote against confirming either Giuliani or Bolton for Sec. of State because of their talk of starting a war with Iran.
I think this is the most important fight right now, to keep the crazies from getting confirmed and it only takes a few Republicans to join Democrats to accomplish.

The day that Lindsey Graham is a check on any Republican, as opposed to drawing checks from Republican Party accounts, is the day I will believe the Republican Party is an actual, functioning political party. Ryan and McConnell’s behavior has been disgusting, and Lindsey has had nothing to say to his fellow party members of any weight or bearing. McCain, the same. They only know how to preen. Actions, not words, Senators. Your country awaits - but not really - because your country knows too well by now that neither of you have the stones.
