Discussion: Seeking To Avoid Prison, Cohen Points To Cooperation With Feds, NY Attorney General

…“met voluntarily” with the New York Attorney General’s office “concerning a state court action in which the NYAG has sued the Donald J. Trump Foundation and certain individual defendants, including Donald J. Trump.”

I can smell the flop sweat in the White House even from where I live.

First he looks to Trump, when that fails, he looks to the Government that he and Trump tried to screw for mercy. Nice guy.

A desperate man, for sure. I’m thinking all the federal/state prosecution pardon complications are starting to make EVERYONE sweat.

Cohen’s lawyers think we’ll be so grateful that he’s cooperating – after resisting for over a year, until we had him dead to rights – that we should not send him to prison for gleefully conspiring against the United States with foreign crime families to put his massively corrupt, fantastically stupid, criminal boss in the White House, and for then using his unofficial position to extract bribes from big companies with business before the govt.

Got it.

For sure. It’s like when Pussy Bonpensiero started informing on Tony Soprano. Pretty soon he was asking the FBI if he could join them full-time.

Seriously, what did Cohen actually give up on Trump that will do him in? Cohen admitted lying to Congress and he plead guilty to 8 other counts and will be sentenced December 12 on those 8 counts.
He said Trump said some racist things, Big deal, Trump says racist things openly on national TV. We already know Trump lies like rug, nothing new there. And as long as he does not lie under oath or to the FBI, he’ll weather the lying fine. He already has for most of his life.
Can anyone point to anything Cohen has said that will nail Trump?

Cohen knows everything about Trump and Russia. Everything. Just because we don’t doesn’t mean shit.

IF you don’t believe me, google Glenn Simpson’s Congressional testimony on the Steele Dossier.

Flash Forward…

And the Grammy for the best new artist and song of the year goes to Mikey Cohen…

Cohen isn’t some naive kid who fell in with the wrong crowd and reacted badly when things got real. He’s a 52-year-old millionaire who’s been running shady businesses and doing dirty work for a true villain for decades.

This line about “reorienting” his moral compass is stupefyingly cynical. I hope the judge punishes his lawyers for attempting to sell this load of shit to the Court.

Are you forgetting that that Mueller’s report is in the hands of the new AG?

That’s not something we’re likely to forget.

So, it just gives Donnie info on how screwed he is. The fact that Mikey is singing at the State and Federal level reduces Donnie’s chances of slipping through, or pardoning folks.

Cohen is so much smarter than the Connecticut Manafort crime family…much smarter. The Manafort crime family is finally getting its due…they’ve been ruining the Nutmeg state for years and getting away with it!

“Michael’s decision to cooperate and take full responsibility for his own conduct well reflects his personal resolve, notwithstanding past errors, to re-point his internal compass true north toward a productive, ethical and thoroughly law abiding life,”

Oh puh-lease. I’m not sure whether to vomit or report to the emergency room with an overdose of saccharine. Maybe I’ll do both.

He’s not making that statement for you or for me. It’s for the judge.

 That’s funny!

Question for the legal experts: if it is proved that the lies he told Congress were approved or vetted by the WH legal team, who, if anyone, in the WH is criminally responsible for those lies?
