While I would never bother to listen to Hannity, I can’t understand what people have against someone like Rachel Maddow. She doesn’t sell herself as a ‘news’ person, but a journalist. She researches all of the stories she presents and even goes out of her way to admit if she gets something wrong on the air.
I think if we had more journalists like her, the news would be a lot more informative than the BS that we’re usually given.
I must say I’m enjoying the current spate of TPM editorial ‘click-bait’ tisk-tisking. “This is the internet after all,” they seem to gasp wide-eyed over ornate lorgnettes, a sacred place reserved for porno, celebrities, images of grotesque medical conditions and sober punditry.
I wonder if she actually knows what the term eugenics refers to. I suspect that word is way above her reading comprehension level. She can deny the science all she wishes, but that doesn’t make it untrue, and if she lives long enough I’m certain the facts will make themselves so evident that even she cannot continue to deny them. Of course, by then it will be too late to do anything about it, but that’s pretty much the Conservative/GOP/Teaparty viewpoint anyway.
There’s so much stupid wrapped up in a single video that it’s overflowing. How one human being can be so ignorant and yet be called upon to offer their ignorant ill informed opinoin on a matter of science goes beyond the pale.
"Common sense dictates that Man cannot have the impact on the Earth that Climateers wish them to have, and to believe that we can alter the Earth’s Climate to any significant degree when we have no control over everyday weather is absurd. "
This is just plain silly, first we are not talking about “everyday weather” but “Climate” (nice try) second: extracting millions of tons of Oil and Coal from the interior of the Earth and burning it off, releasing CO2, will of course impact the climate, third: deforestation both in South-America, Africa and Asia/Borneo will, of course, also impact the climate because the trees absorb CO2. Your ‘common sense’ is pure (willfull?) ignorance, because the truth is much to scary to face.
