Trump hired Manafort because he needed someone to be the go between Trump and Russia. It was Putin who strongly suggested to Donald Trump that he put Manafort in charge of his campaign.

I think the hack of the RNCās emails must have been much more damaging to the GOP than we appreciated at first.
