Sorry. When I wrote that âhe shouldnât object to abortion, either,â I was speaking of Santorum, not Trump.
As for Trumpâs reproductive history, Iâm with you: I have no doubt that itâs as sordid and squalid â and cruel â as the rest of his life.
Santorum is everyoneâs idea of a fool, an ignorant fool and pathetic, failing culture warrior. Who cares what this bag of nothing has to say?
Every gun nut in the country cares about what he says. I live among people like that, they donât care about kids, they feed their middle schoolers steroids so they can make the football team.
Personally Iâm writing a letter to CNN letting them know I will gladly return to watching and reading their stories (on the web, since I donât have cable) when this vile pos Santorum is no longer associated with their organization*. I can tolerate plenty of voices who donât agree with me. But this guy was paid - paid - to tell an audience who came there for serious commentary that their kids donât count in his version of democracy, that they should be neither seen nor heard, on a matter that is literally life and death for them. That they have no right to representation.
*Yeah, I guess thatâs a boycott.
