So Santorum has no qualms whatsoever about using legislation to protect women from the trauma of deciding their own reproductive future, but thinks school kids (and the rest of us) should not look to legislation to protect against getting one’s brains blown out by assault rifles.
Once again — massive asshole. Thankfully, Dan Savage has helped to deal with him and grant him all the respect he deserves.
On thinking about it, he makes a pretty good spokesman, from the soundbite miner’s perspective.

So it’s okay for the NRA to give tens of millions (some of it Russian) dollars to lawmakers, but it’s not ok for gun control advocates to demonstrate for their beliefs? And, btw, it’s multi-billion dollar corporations funding the NRA.

I have free advice to offer as well. Instead of saying idiot stuff on the teevee, washed-up wack jobs who got kicked out of the Senate in a 16 18-percent humiliating loss should do something constructive, like blow a donkey.
