Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Ricky. Now please be so kind as to STFU. No one cares what you think.

Keep that “Trump is failing” buzz going, Ricky.

Why is he asked any questions?

Seriously

Ya Ricky dreams…
“I could have been a contender”
“Curse you Trump”
"Maybe I’m not too old to try again "
“This time I’ll show them!”

I just looked at my watch
15 minutes is up

I guess that Santorum’s an authority on “not winning”… so when it comes to speaking about being a loser - he does have credibility.

I do so enjoying watching rightwingers calling Spankee a loser. Even when those rightwingers are losers themselves.

But seriously, is someone thinking about making another run on the GOP ticket in 2020?

Maybe it’s a reverse canary in the coal mine thing. If even Santorum admits that Trump has bollixed his one big thing up to a fare-thee-well, it means a certain threshold has been reached.

Because he was a one time shining star of the Religious Right. And CNN figures they might catch lightning in a bottle when he gets his MoJo back, suddenly, and takes the Republican Party and then the country by storm with his charm, his v-neck sweaters, and his boyish good looks.

Because he needs a job to feed all those mouths, buy them v-neck sweaters, send them to college, pay for the Santorum home and weekend country home, and the various SUVs and minivans that his adherence to the Catholic teachings on contraception now necessitate.

“The President Clearly Is Not A Winner”

How brave of Santorum to tell it like it is. But why so negative? Say it loud and say it proud: “The President Clearly Is A Looozer. Bigly.”

As someone said about John Tyler long after his presidency ended, “He rose from the cerements of his forgotten grave.”

Why waste any pixels on that guy?

Yeah really, I guess with 24 hour news channels you really struggle to fill in the time! Who gives a shit what Santorum has to say. Ask him about the deficit, that seemed like a top priority when Obama was president.

Isn’t Santorum’s time for relevance up? He served 12 years in the Senate, and by my calculations this year is the twelfth year since he lost re-election.

It is as obvious as wet on water that Trump is not a winner, but is there honestly anyone out there who gives a shit what Senator Frothy has to say?

Jeez, CNN. Why didn’t you just hire a meth-head to do political analysis?

It really doesn’t matter if Trump was a winner. Were the American people winners? That is what matters.

Trump: My supporterd think I am a huge winner. Besides, CNN always makes up stuff against me. They Lie.

He never recovered from Bob Casey whipping his butt.

Now why does CNN continue to waste time with him?

And Bob Casey whipped him by double digits. And Bob keeps getting re-elected by wide margins!

That is actually a question that has been consuming my thoughts for awhile now.

I saw an article a few days ago, interviewing a bunch of ex-republicans and “NeverTrump” republicans about who they want…

…as the Democratic candidate. The underlying premise that the article kept coming back to was, “these are votes Dems need to win in 2020”.

I’ve looked around for similar articles interviewing these people about who they were recruiting to run in a primary for their own party…nothing. (and of course nothing ever about conservative Dems and who they would want in a republican primary).

Meanwhile, Steve Schmidt is losing his shit on his own podcast when asked any questions about his candidate Schultz…who is purposefully running to try and pull the Democratic party closer to a GOP he envisioned…but who isn’t taking aim at Trump or Pence or any GOP policies…only Democrats.

I bring all of this up, because I am pretty convinced we are going to see these sorts of things continue throughout this year and well into next year. They won’t bother trying to fix their party, which they have all had a hand in destroying (the GOP’s decline started well before Trumpers took over), they are eyeing are party for a take over so they can destroy it too.
