Q1. Yes. And they lose their 5th Amendment protections and any lies they tell are prosecutable.
Q2. Doubtful. Issuing a second pardon would be a blatant obstruction of justice and wouldnāt fly. That doesnāt mean he wouldnāt do it. Just that the courts would likely void it on contact.
Meanwhile, prosecutors would be racking up yet another charge against both of them.
