Discussion: Sanders Supporters Practice Getting Arrested As Prep For Dem Convention

Just great…Some Sanders supporters want to help Donald Trump some more

Just a thought, but imagine what they could do if Sanders and his minions were as pissed off at the REPUBLICANS as they seem to be at the Dems?

But that might lead to actually getting something done, and who wants to go through that hard work.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap – and it’s entirely Bernie Sanders who has sown the seed that could get Trump elected.

Luckily Trump seems hell bent on preventing that from happening.

“several dozen attendees at the People’s Summit conference in Chicago rehearsed their interactions with law enforcement…”

There are always a few nutcases who attach themselves to any movement, especially movements that believe that they have the Truth. As long as there are dozens, or even hundreds, and not thousands or tens of thousands, this will be meaningless. As it should be.

Imagine if they instead volunteered to help progressive candidates running in local and Federal elections across the country. NAH… they should protest an election they lost.

What if they had a party and no one showed up? Too bad the press won’t ignore, or at the very least give these actions the level of response it demands. It would be funny if they were screaming for raising the min wage to $15 (or any other platform point) exactly at the same it was being discussed by a speaker at the convention.

I get the bitterness; the sense of self-importance; the determination to go their own way; and the depression after the defeat - California and New Jersey put an end to the campaign. Sandesr should be providing leadership; magnanimity and girding himself to campaign for Hillary - but he seems incapable of taking that step. He does not get the historic sense of the Clinton race. But then he wants to make his own history: first non-Democrat to scupper an elected candidate who will run in this race for the Democratic Party. That must be more important than electing the first woman to be President. What are Mrs Bernie and Mr Deaver doing: feeding Bernie’s dreams???

Maybe they’ll all get arrested on the first day. What are they gonna do if the judge sets bail higher than $27?

Oh FFS. Go join the Green Party already!

Journalism101: Approximately how many people were at the conference total? The NYTimes didn’t report that either.

Several dozen people is a very imprecise number … Somewhere between 36 and 100.

“Now Donny! Here in Chapter 11 “Bernie Math,” and you already know a lot about Chapter 11, it shows how we win!”

These morons think it’s 1968, except they are protesting a fantasy. They didn’t win, so they are whining. Diaper change time.

Bernie Sanders and his followers have reached the “limp wet noodle” stage. This is the highly scientific stage where nobody gives a crap about them.

It’s generally characterized by intense whining, copious moaning, childish protests, purple faces (from holding of breath), and loud plaintive calls for attention ignored by everyone with that elusive, foreign concept for them: a life.
