The emails on a private server were legal and there was precedence with other Sec of State. This was the best the repubs could do with Benghazi. There was no security breech. The emails were declared āsecretā after the fact and the contents apparently were public knowledge. Bernie is playing the candidate game.
He is, without a doubt, the Republican choice for the Democratic nomination.
Sanders is 74, 5 years older than the previous oldest newly elected president (Ronnie) and we know something of Ronnieās ability to think in his second term. If elected Bernie is at best a one termer. A president going on 80 is not electable. Heās a self proclaimed socialist. Obama isnāt but has been crucified for his progressive policiesāwhich were not at all socialist. Their argument was that he is a socialist and as such unamerican. Bernie will face a tidal wave of similar accusations and his back history is as far to the left as many repubbies are to the right. Heās really unelectable and the republican choice for an opponent. Too bad for us if he is nominated.

This is extremely disappointing to hear from Bernie. He just lost tons of respect from me as his comment undermines his āfocus on the issues that matterā mantra. Bernie, it is not a āvery serious matterā unless you are pandering to the GOP. Someone gave you extremely poor advice to say that. Of course now you have also pandered to the media who will gleefully talk about this instead of those issues that were supposedly so important to you. Epic failure by Bernie today.
