SAY IT, BERNIE.

“I endorse Hillary Clinton for president and am suspending my campaign as I have no path to the nomination.”

SAY IT!

Oh for fucks sake you exasperating old fool.
You do not have the self awareness to see how really stupid people think you are.
Who supports this position? Anyone?

My God: what is wrong with Bernie: doesn’t he know the meaning of “you LOST”. Pathetic!

This incoherent non-endorsement endorsement may be the best Clinton can hope for at this stage. My guess is that his refusal to quit the race is all about wanting to make a splash at the convention. Why not give him a prime-time speaking slot? And maybe an empty chair to debate with

Serious question: isn’t the whole reason other candidates “suspend” (rather than “end”) their campaign, so that they can keep their delegates and influence the platform? So what’s with this “I’ll vote but not endorse nor suspend my campaign” nonsense?

(Well, at least it’s still a baby step in the right direction, but this is the longest zigzag to ending a campaign that I’ve ever witnessed).

*Editted to add quotes to “end”, since they both mean effectively the same thing for the status as a candidate.

Yes.

It demonstrates that Bernie has no understanding of the nominating or convention process, and shows once again how he is The Trump of The Left – demagoguery, bluster, but no substance and precious little awareness.

He doesn’t need to drop out. That would be giving up his delegates, and they still have value for the platform and rules process.

But he does need to suspend his campaign and endorse Clinton for president. His delegates are not going to change that nomination, and it’s time to stop. He will get less on the platform and rules and probably not get a speaking spot – or at least a good one – if he doesn’t drop out.

Dear Bernie: Uck Foff!

Soons as he has a challenger in VT 2018 Senate race I’m donating. If I live close to VT I’ll volunteer too.

I guess Sanders came out of his hidey-hole after running from the gun issue.

In short
no.

It is so they can continue to raise money, most often because a campaign’s remaining debt.

As for his remaining in
as it has been widely noted here, there are various polls saying some decent percentage (numbers vary) are not ready to commit to Hillary.

Does it seem logical that they would want Bernie to just jump right to Hillary? Of course not.

Both, Bernie and the HRC campaign know this. There is no real fight for platform concessions, because any winning primary candidate that saw 40%of their party vote for someone else will realize there is real support there and seek to bring them onto the fold.

I trust the judgment of 2, 30+year politicians to work together to bring these folks along
‘concessions’ will smooth things over and give Bernie some things to point out as reasons to jump on the HRC train. The couple weeks of suspense will raise the profile of the endorsement and make it bigger news.

Bernie has always caucuses for the Democratic, I see no reason to expect he won’t be there for them as needed, 30 years has shown us that.

Why not? Because he would use the time to push his pet causes without regard to decreasing the likelihood of electing Democrats in the coming general election. He talks unity and winning against Trump while sowing disunity and increasing the likelihood of defeat for both our candidates and his preferred policies. He should not be let any where near the stage without a TelePrompTer and a kill switch.

The longer he stays in the water, the more pruney he becomes

Bernie has now achieved the status of “forgotten, but not gone.” Too bad–he has wasted almost everything he accomplished in the campaign.
