Discussion: Sanders Sarcastically Thanks Bill Clinton For Being His 'Psychoanalyst'

sorry… I wasn’t commenting on your statements… I was trying to make the point the back and forth between the Hillary and Bernie camps is unnecessary and its better left to the Republican candidates since that’s seem to be the only thing they have to offer…

bullshit…

So the former editor of the Burlington Free Press didn’t like Sanders? And?

I know. But added to that is the organically grown Hillbot fatigue. I don’t think I’ll make it.

What excuse? What are you talking about? I was directly answering your post about how negative Hillary and her supporters are.

Seriously - you confronted me, I told you what I meant and that’s an excuse? For what?

I knew a socialist like Bernie Sanders when I was in college. The guy was always ranting about social inequality and the evils of banks and corporations. He claimed he didn’t believe in private property. One day he got some ice cream and put it in the freezer. When he opened the freezer a couple of hours later, the ice cream was gone. Some other socialist who also didn’t believe in private property ate it. Socialist 1 went apoplectic.

For all the high-minded rhetoric, every self-righteous socialist I have ever meet was at their core a self-centered fool with serious mental blinders. Bernie Sanders doesn’t seem to be an exception.

Meh. Just tell them to remove you from their list. That’s what I did and they complied. A lot of us get on lists because of our past support of other Democrats and Democratic causes, a lot of which is public record or gets sold to campaigns (which, while not ethical, is legal in some instances). A good data person knows where to get the public info that can help them build lists.

GO to the source LQQK at Vermont, NO JOBS, high taxes, EXCLUSIVE pop…For someone WHO is supposed to be SO great for our middle class, WHY isn’t there more of those in VERMONT??? When the Clintons were in the WH, we had a surplus and the JOB SITUATION WAS GOOD.
If our country were to do it Bernie’s way as they do in Vermont, we’d all freeze in the dead of winter. Because if in Vermont if the HIGH PRICES TO HEAT IN WINTER don’t get you…THEY HIGH TAXES WILL. O, did I say there ARE NO JOBS IN VERMNT. He’s lying to you all.

And he knew him well for the eight years he covered him. He concluded Bernie’s something close to a curmudgeon. You have to be more even tempered to live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Rep. Barney Frank also had some choice words for Bernie 25 years ago.

The unemployment rate in Vermont is currently at 3.4%. Not sure what that has to do with anything, though, because Bernie is a senator, not the governor of the state.

A long time observer who is no doubt already the target of thousands of tweets and comments branding him a neoliberal corporatist media shill.

Seconded on the Philadelphia speech on race. That’s when I realized that Obama had the grit, vision, clarity of thought and self-examination, and drive to win and be an effective president.

I’ve listened to that speech dozens of times, and I still get something out of it.

And there’s a reason why the people who’ve worked closest with him, his Senate colleagues, have chosen not to endorse him. There’s a reason why he hasn’t gotten even one endorsement from them and only a little more than a handful of endorsements in the House. People who know him dislike him. He’s not a nice person.

I agree, the ability to win endorsement says a lot about the candidate – and it’s not that she’s a member of some “establishment.”

I would also submit the same about the ability to obtain contributions from a wide range of constituencies – it’s a sign of widespread support.

Which is completely incorrect as it stands. Sanders mistakenly thought ‘she started it’ based on a false WaPo headline. Shows he is incompetent, shoots from the hip and not someone you want as a Commander in Chief.

Project much?

@tflick, don’t play that sexism card too soon; it’s going to be torn, dog-eared, and faded by the time she really needs it. Or are you saying Hillary has to cry sexism already because she’s got nothing else?

I quit reading HuffPo when they went after Dodd Frank as worthless and devoted countless essays to how worthless it was. Once I remembered that Ariana Huffington had once been the Republican right leaning talking head on the news, who changed when she thought the wind was blowing the other way, I knew how ludicrous the site was.

Then once she added to her own millions by selling the site to AOL without compensating those who wrote for her I felt justified.

You do know, don’t you, that offering that kind of commentary is no different from the kind of ad hominem attacks on Clinton people (rightfully) take exception to.

I mean, do you want me coming on here quoting Ronald Kessler and First Family Detail? I haven’t done so, I haven’t seen anybody do so. But we could have.

There’s plenty of material there on Clinton’s bad personality from a long time observer too. If you want your candidate done right by, do right by the other one. I would have expected better of you.
