made their moneyā€¦they could care less if things blow upā€¦

Sanders. The only adult in the room points his finger at who is really responsible. The media. And Hillary. And Wall Street fat cats.

Good. Heā€™s walking it back, as he should.

Other than on the intertubes, it will all be forgotten. Yesterdayā€™s papers.

Seriously, Senator Sanders, ā€œThis is not the type of politics that I want to get into?ā€ Youā€™ve waded into the muck up to the top of your bald pate, sir, and you canā€™t talk yourself out of that by blaming the press.

Bernie Drumpf - just like the original Donald = nothing is ever their fault.

See, it was the mediaā€™s fault. St. Bernie can never fail, he can only be failed.

Hillaryā€™s donations from Wall Street employees didnā€™t bother him in 2006 when he accepted $10,000 from HILLPAC for his Senate campaign.

He needs to walk it back and apologize. She takes the high road and he takes the low road. Whoever is advising him needs to be fired. She never said he is ā€œunqualified.ā€ He is unprepared thatā€™s for sure.

Am I understanding him correctly that he only went on the attack because of a headline instead of what she actually said? So his criticism isnā€™t of the media, per se, but headline writers?

Very Trumpian.

Ha ha, did anyone else NOT see this coming? I have yet to see him apologize, accept responsibility in any way.

Always someone elseā€™s fault. That is how self-righteous scolds are. Itā€™s their nature.

And seriously ā€“ his excuse is he didnā€™t read past the headline??? WTF??

ā€œWhat I just said is that she has attacked me for being unqualified. And if I am going to attack for being ā€˜unqualifiedā€™ I will respond in kind,ā€ he said, adding he hopes to move away from personal attacks.

Guy is SO FAR out of his league (I wonā€™t say his mind) itā€™s almost scary.

She did not attack him and yet he insists on ā€œresponding in kind.ā€ Heā€™s justifying his attack on an attack that didnā€™t happen. But to him, this makes sense.

Please someone get the hook already!

Iā€™ve rapidly moved from liking Bernie but preferring Hillary to thinking that Bernie Sanders would be a disaster as president. Maybe itā€™s just campaign season that makes me feel this way. I felt the same way about Hillary in 2008. But after reading his Daily News answers and seeing how he responds to questions about how heā€™d support other Democrats, my worst fears about a Bernie Sanders run are coming true.

All heā€™s doing is sowing the seeds of a defeat in November, and I donā€™t think heā€™d actually care that much if it happened.

So you are either uninformed or lying, because she never said you were unqualified.

Admit you fucked up and didnā€™t know what she actually said (or more pointedly didnā€™t say) and you over-reacted.

The irony of course is this reaction from you actually does call into question your suitability to be President compared to Sec. Clintonā€™s. To say nothing about one of the core pillars of you campaignā€™s message these past few months which has devolved into implying that your opponent for the Democratic Partyā€™s nomination is corrupt. Which is gutter politics you try to piously protest against.

Of course Sec. Clinton and you are light-years away and far better than anything the GOP are putting forward, but come on man. Admit you got snookered and reacted poorly.

You beat me to it.

ā€œI donā€™t think I have to explain to the American people what Wall Street did to this economy,ā€ Sanders said. ā€œAre you qualified to be president of the U.S. when youā€™re raising millions of dollars from Wall Street, an entity whose greed, recklessly and illegal behavior helped destroy our economy?ā€

You think thatā€™s ā€œwalking it backā€? Itā€™s not even close.

Yes, it will all be forgotten - by the Berniacs. Anyone else will remember this.

Thatā€™s not a walk back.

Thank you for saying this (though this isnā€™t so much a walk back). I saw you in the other thread state that what Sanders said was stupid.

I can respect you for saying that. I know it is not fun or easy to admit when your preferred candidate says something stupid and wrong (witness Clinton and the Nancy Reagan fighting AIDS eulogy stupidity, which she rightly retracted and made clear she was very wrong in saying).
