Discussion: Ryan: House Is 'Willing' To Work With Senate On O'Care—But With Conditions

You say ‘wuss,’ I say’ Future Resident of Hell.’

“I only wish that I had any confidence in the Democrats having any ability - let alone inclination - to swamp the airwaves with opposition, and the streets with opposition.”

I don’t know where you live, but Democrats where I live are doing every thing you (and others) claim they’re not doing. “When are Democrats going to stand up, yada yada yada” has become as tiresome as Sanders supporters decrying neoliberals and the DNC.

I don’t want coverage. Do Republicans really think I want to pay through the nose for family health care?
My opinion is quite different from Trump Organization.

Republicans are offering a free alternative. Lousy service. Sucks to wait in line. But it’s free, because it’s my choice. I don’t have to spend money on insurance and society will pick up the bill. Or pay the consequences. Either way, I’m dead, so it don’t matter to me. Dat’s what Da Donald would say.

Just an isolated anecdote, but I’ve spent most of this week in Nevada, for my sins, I mean, on business travel. And somebody – actually, several somebodies – is filling the local broadcast channels with ads leaning on Sen. Heller pretty hard to “protect Nevadans’ health care”…

Because Republicans are making it collapse.

It’s your money, conservatives. Pay your Congressman now or pay him later. Either way, he’s coming for your wallet.

Obamacare saves money.

Honestly, the best option now for McConnell is to let the Senate parlimentarian take the blame for making the bill have a 60 vote threshold and let the Democrats kill it.

PAUL RYAN IS NOT IN CHARGE OF THE HOUSE. He’s a pushover.

Pass a $500,000,000,000.00 tax on hedge funds if you want to have a conference committee.

Can you sin a little extra for me while you’re there? I haven’t been coming anywhere near my daily quota lately. Thanks. Just tell Goddess Ellen DeGeneres that it’s for me. Thanks again.

It will be enough for McCain, Graham and Johnson (aka the Chickenshit Liars Club) to vote yes on this POS.

Apparently Ryan’s statement was not persuasive enough for McCain, R. Johnson, or Ms. Lindsey. Per Topher Spiro twiiter feed.

Still, I will believe their no votes when they are actually cast.

Yes. They voted yes on the MTP. That’s everything. The rest is just a Kabuki show.

Dumbass, the who shoved it to the Senate was YOU. This is on your head, so get used to the jeers for the rest of your life

We only need one more Senator to stand up and say no and this evil charade will stop. Do not give this mobster of a President any semblance of a victory at this absolutely critical juncture in our nation’s history. Come on, John stand up!

Until the Senate can do that, we will never be able to develop a conference report that becomes law. We expect the Senate to act first on whatever the conference committee produces.

Heller has proven he’ll strangle a nursing home’s worth of grannies if Steve Wynn commands it.
