OMG! A Democratic plot to make the Republicans look petty and unserious? Thank heavens Speaker Ryan stopped that. The Republicans are fully capable of making themselves look petty and unserious without any help.
Look, yâall are going to be in D.C. all summer. I can suggest a more relevant voteâŠ
Sans Ryan, we will see a lot of these kinds of votes with Democrats taking the bait (inside and outside of Congress).

Ryan and klan couldnât be less serious if they were a Monty Python skit.
Republicans love ICE, hate the FBI.
Do these guys do any actual work for their constituents? Silly me, of course not.
âPetty and unseriousâ??? NO! Not after the scripted sht show last week. Why would Paul THINK that???
I hear theyâre planning to merge with the Very Silly Party.
ETA: Next Speaker, Rep. Olé Biscuit Barrel (VSP - Iowa).
Hey, now the Demâs can have their own hatsâŠ

Maybe they could vote on ICE subcontractors?

hey Ryan, how about a resolution condemning President Rollovers press conference with Vlad?
Well, good call, Mr. Speaker, because that plan was fuckinâ dumb.
So, to somehow hurt the Democrats theyâre going to have a vote to show who supports ICE harder? This is a pretty damn easy one for Democrats. âNo, I donât support the heavy handed merciless tactic of ripping infants from their desperate, asylum seeking, parents who are escaping the worst kinds of violence in order to give their kids a shot at making it to adulthood. Apparently, my opponent is perfectly fine with tearing families apart.â
âHowever, per Politico, Ryan quashed the idea, worrying that the Democrats would abstain from voting as a bloc, making the Republicans look petty and unserious.â

STOP. BEING. SO. CREDULOUS.
The non-nativists out there did, however, make a tactical blunder early on. By labeling this as Abolish ICE, theyâve created the impression that theyâre in favor of open borders, with no control over immigration whatsoever. We all know thatâs not true, but the branding was faulty. Replace ICE is the correct message.
However, per Politico, Ryan quashed the idea, worrying that the Democrats would abstain from voting as a bloc, making the Republicans look petty and unserious.
Republicans will instead soon hold a vote on a bill introduced by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) that expresses support for ICE to try to set themselves apart from Democrats on the agency.
âŠMaking themselves look petty and unserious instead. Thatâll show 'em but good! (:eye roll emoji goes here:)
Jesus toaster strudel ChristâŠone would have thought theyâd have latched onto the idea of using box cars on trains by nowâŠ
Yeah, they already grabbed the âoh, weâre just sending them to get a showerâ play.
