Discussion: Ryan-Aligned Super PAC Hits Ossoff For Raising Money Outside Georgia In Ad (VIDEO)

So it’s supreme court validated “free speech” when the traitors do it but when progressives do it there’s something sinister about it? Do tell…

Is there anything dumber and more cynical than a SuperPAC run by out-of-state money raised by Paul RAyn accusing Ossoff of raising out-of-state money?

The attempt at obfuscation is mind-blowingly idiotic.

They know what buttons to push for the redneck constituents they hope will vote AGAINST Ossoff.

This ad pretty much has it all (except two gay-men kissing) it has the uppity female college student, the dirty hippy, SAN FRANCISCO! (the modern Sodom) and the implication that “them thur’ furri’ners (in California) is trying to TAKE AWAY OUR ELECTION!”

It is not aimed at you. That is why you find it amusing.

Out-of-state donations are terrible! Now, when do I get my checks from the NRA, Heritage Action, and Club for Growth?

Bogeymen only go so far. More to the point, Handel is a terrible candidate as evidenced by how this former SoS for the State of Georgia doesn’t want everyone to have enough time to register to vote. She puts partisan politics above the rights of the electorate and the state. Good thing the court stepped in and overruled her opinion. She’s shit outta luck and registrations are happening, no doubt to the Republican party’s dismay.

The problem with this ad is that the rubes who listen to those dogwhistles have been replaced in that district by more progressive thinkers.

This kind of ad is insulting to anyone outside their hate-others bubble and, hopefully, will backfire on them.

Of all the hypocritical BS. Ryan isn’t from Georgia last time I checked. Geezus!

So, it’s okay for GOP Wisconsin money to flow into Georgia, but not Democratic California money?

I know, I know: IOKIYAR

No, that would be too easy to counter with someone from China here on a $500,000 Kushner visa.

And yet the people of Georgia won’t get that.
Speaking for California, Georgia is the bung hole of the US. Everybody knows that.

Punching the dirty fucking hippies is such a tired go to move for the rePukes. Hating on San Francisco and Nancy Pelosi hits all the hate porn radio erogenous zones. So predictable. So tired. Like FDR’s comments about the “economic royalists”, wear their contempt with pride By Area. Wear it with pride.

My favorite part of this ad is that the production budget was spent in San Francisco, hiring local actors and video production crews. Thanks, Georgia!

This is the new GOP tactic, look at the TPM story on the Iowa GOP Congressman Rod Blum walking out of an interview, after being asked if he’d accept contributions from highly liberal Iowa City, which is outside of his conservative NW Iowa district. I live here in Iowa City, and some people outside the town refer to it as the “Socialist Republic of Iowa City.” This is the new smear tactic, Iowa congressmen can’t even accept contributions from other Iowans, if they aren’t the right kind of Iowans.

Republicans really should think about maybe not going for the voter that’s loading a gun and fearing foreigners while watching their ads.

I mean, there’s a lot more voters NOT loading guns and fearing foreigners, after all. Maybe adapt to that reality?

Just a thought.

i believe it’s quicker just to type “IOKIYAR”

You are confusing Atlanta with the rest of Georgia.

This district is IN north Atlanta, not OF north Georgia so much.

It should probably be a dead giveaway that those aren’t “real” San Franciscans. Pretty sure “real” San Franciscans avoid Fisherman’s Wharf like the plague. Also surprised that one of the actors wasn’t holding a box of Rice-A-Roni to really sell the ad’s authenticity.

we are far, far beyond mere “attempts.” i’d say they’ve accomplished it. see, e.g., wackadoodle house, wackadoodle senate, wackadoodle white house, wackadoodle supreme court, wackadoodle state legislatures and governor’s mansions.

And I guess those GOP fuckers from Wisconsin aren’t funding the Komen killer? (no offense to those of you who are working to make Wisconsin blue again…)
