He’s wrong about a lot of things.

This come-to-Jeebus moment must be very hard on the impotent little Boil Boy. Time for a healing trip to the Dominican Republic, no doubt.

A rare moment of clarity for the Great Bloviator. What’s next… grabbing women by the genitalia is never right?

“it’s a risk here to just throw the polls out and say they don’t matter because you end up creating a false reality for yourself that isn’t true.”

Yeah, right, Rush we know you love creating a “false reality that isn’t true” (are there other kinds of false realities, by the way?). That’s how you earn your living. The risk is creating a false reality that can be easily revealed as such. Better to stay with the big lies that can never be disproved.

Wow - thought the logic was to throw the polls out - proclaim them to be totally invalid …

Then when the votes come in and mirror the polls - throw out the votes - because they match the invalid polls

Well, will ya look at that! The clock on the Titanic was right today! Again!

Rush Limbaugh can go suck a bag of dicks.

That is all.

So are the polls showing a GOP candidate winning in any election also biased and meant to suppress Dem turnout? Can’t have one without the other, I assume. Or could be that polling companies actually just try to do a good job so they are shown to be good at what they do and have a good reputation and get hired for more polling based on that good stuff. Buncha whiney bit***s.

Even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. That’s more than Rushbo can claim.

Wow. When someone whose job consists of slant and spreading disinformation, I marvel when he pushes for accuracy. Huh. Why is that? Then I think, Oh, didn’t he just have to renegotiate his contract? The flush rush movement has certainly moved Rush’s numbers south— It’s been a reality check in a bad way.

What does Rush need to do? Keep his audience. Inoculate them to reality of a Trump loss so that, when it comes to pass, they trust you for your truth telling, and tune in more than they already do.

Tune in. Stop the slide / Increase ratings. Sell ads, continue to finance that ritzy lifestyle.

No, no that is not enough. I want public shaming, I want lardo in stocks in Times Square, I want rotten fruit, then ants, and then there’s always room for “suck[ing] a bag of dicks.”

"…because you end up creating a false reality for yourself that isn’t true.”

Isn’t that the raison d’être of his entire career?

Does Rushbo really think people because of what the polls are indicating? I know he calls his supporters “dittoheads” because they can’t or won’t think for themselves, but that does not apply to the majority of us.

Still will scream about it. The thing with a number of these guys is their mindset does not make much sense. Midterm elections are not presidential elections and so on. It is like they assume the people running polls are idiots and do not do these things all of the time. They know their business. Just a broader problem with not trusting experts on some things.

Now some polls are better than others. We have some now, the one from USC and Rasmussen that seem way off the mark because how they account for samples and overrepresent the GOP. The USC one from what I gather is a strange thing though. It is more following a focus group of sorts over time rather than polling new people each time or random portions of the population. Not sure why it is counted as if it were the same but it is. As for that one it would need to compare to the opinions at the start of its own poll.

I seem to detect faint signs of an ability to learn. Something I would consider as likely as the confirmation of a SETI signal. This campaign season is truly wondrous.

Actually if one were skewing polls with an agenda for a candidate, they would show their candidate slightly behind to get more people out to vote.

To be fair, wasn’t that what he was doing in Costa Rica?

It won’t be long before Rush or some other right-wing blowhard claims that left-biased pollsters overweight for Republicans in order to deceive conservatives into being complacent.
