Discussion for article #245163
The poll found that Bloomberg’s entrance into the race would hurt Clinton more than Trump.
I've never forgiven Bloomberg for killing the Corvair.
So in the opposite world of Fox News, this means he shouldn’t get into the race.
If Bloomberg is relying on the political acumen of Rupert Murdoch, he may as well concede right now.
“The poll found that Bloomberg’s entrance into the race would hurt Clinton more than Trump.”

Maybe Bloomberg would like to take advantage of the spare podium at the upcoming debate. If not, I hope Fox News leaves it there as a silent reminder of Trump’s temper tantrum.
The poll found that Bloomberg’s entrance into the race would hurt Clinton more than Trump.
Which Rupert knows all too well. The Faux crowd are more worried to go up against Clinton than Sanders and it shows.
Murdoch’s tweet about Bloomberg comes as Donald Trump plans to boycott a Thursday debate hosted by News Corp’s Fox News channel.
TPM, it’s not correct to state that Trump is “boycotting” anything. FOX Entertainment has agreed to give Donald Trump special treatment by having Trump appear as a guest on Bill O’Reilly’s program instead of facing the other GOP contestants and the moderators, including Megyn Kelly in the actual debate.
Subtle
Is that true? Wow. Now that’s hypocrisy all the way around on a massive scale if that’s what they’re doing. The entire GOP primary, as covered by Faux and other cable outlets, is one big manipulation of the electorate and the process. There hasn’t been any ethics in the process from what I can tell. They’re all putting their thumbs on the scale one way or another.
Perhaps. Even probably. But the recent clown car rally that is the Republican primary might lead one to question Rupert´s political acumen at this point in time.
bloomberg doesn’t have a chance in hell… this is what happens when the 1% only speak to each other…
from the fox press release re trump. i’m surprised the press office didn’t erupt in a fireball when this phrase was written: ‘violates all journalistic standards,’
it’s also being reported that a desperate roger ailes is calling melania and invanka to pressure donald to do the debate; but donald will only speak to rupert…
this is so friggin entertaining… and sad about what it demonstrates about how degraded our politics are.
Yep. TPM is reporting that Trump will be meeting with O’Reilly, yet “boycotting” the debate. These fuckers work it every which they can possibly can – and their viewers eat it up.
Murdoch: I have always been right. As I had predicted, price of oil after Iraq war touched $10/barrel. I also said George Bush will be a great president. etc etc. Why stop now?
HAHAHAHAHA
So he recognizes that the GOP/Teatrolls are totally fucked right now and hopes to encourage Bloomberg to be a spoiler candidate for the Dems. YAWN.
I remember seeing a few posts last couple of days saying s/he would vote for Bloomberg over Bernie if he’s the Dem nominee. Now Murdoch encourages Bloomberg to get in. Please, think about it. Think what it means, and reconsider your vote.
Missed that one. Thanks. I’m trying to do too many things today and trying to keep up.
So essentially, Faux willingly gave him an out, probably to tamp down the antagonism. This whole GOP primary is stage-craft and candidate manipulation. Cable news, especially Faux, should just find a way to choose their preferred candidate and quit the pretense that they even remotely resemble a news provider. Its one big fucking sham. And its killing our democracy. I wish Faux never existed. Can you imagine where the country would be if the FCC had called them out on the carpet years ago like they should have? Forget the FEC…they’re less than useless.
Him again? When mummification goes awry.
In any sane country, the only remaking question at this point, given the GOP/WWE candidates, would be whether the next president will be Bernie or Hills.
