At this point no self-respecting super pac will touch the underperforming Marco!
Little Marco took an ax
Gave his career 40 whacks
When heâd seen what he had done
wished he hadnât pissed off the donnie.
I agree with you about Murphy, too. Meh. Both a lightweight and not very progressive at all.
Seems to me there have been some decent statewide candidates â Alex Sink comes to mind. But they tend to lose in those non-presidential years, which makes it difficult for Dems to create a bench. I actually kind of like Crist â heâll make a decent congressman for Jollyâs district, doncha think?
I expect Murphy will beat Grayson, and Iâll support him when he does, but I really like this candidate:
They grow them a little stupid in Florida. Once considered one of the most racist of the southern states, it doubled down as such with all of the âsnowbirdsâ from the manufacturing states, like the âMichituckiansâ who came up to work in the auto plants next to the black men and women who left the south because of racism. They never got along because no one ever told them they were part of the same class. Sad.
Now comes yet another person whoâs never held elected office acting like the Donald. Heâs not qualified to hold office as his only âpublic serviceâ has been as a shill for that BHF (Bald-Headed f@*t) Rick Scott. Rubio needed to stay above the fray in the primary race, but didnât - he acted like a child and rose to Trumpâs baiting. Now he wantâs back into the Senate Club after saying he didnât want to. A little petulant, I think.
But no one really survived Drumpf because he pandered to the lowest common denominator and got the Tea Bag folks and other victims of âthe Gummintâ to collect their pitchforks and march. Kinda like the Bern-Dog Doodle guy on the Dem side. Interesting political ideas (sometimes), no clue as to their execution. (Not to suggest that Drumpf has interesting ideas⌠Just some junk he pulled out of his @$$.)
You know, when you vote the people in like Scott, Bush, Rubio, you shouldnât expect them to take care of your interests. Theyâre the ones who gave us tax policies that allow for great disparities in wealth, social infrastructure and opportunities. Republicans talk a great game about providing for the little guy, but their mindless belief in âsupply-sideâ economic policies doesnât allow it. Itâs crazy how folks vote against their interests, but the dog-whistles (War on Drugs, States Rights, Willie Horton are biggies) that Nixon, Reagan and Bush Daddy all blew captured the imagination of the working class and the next thing you knew: Unions were evil, all black women were âwelfare queensâ and it was OK to manufacture and market crack cocaine, then lock up the users, in order to get $ to buy guns for the right-wing in Nicuraugua. (WTF - Nicurauga?)
We need a Sanders who can come up with complete policy ideas and their thoughtful execution, someone who doesnât sound like the old guy yelling at the kids on his lawn. Clinton is second-best, but will bring experience to the table. Hopefully sheâll have listened to the younger side of the party.

Alex Sink would have been fine at governing, except she sucked at campaigning and speaking. Charlie Crist is better than any current alternative, but he is an empty suit, whose major attribute is finding the middle of whatever road he happens to be on. He has a fake tan, fake principles (none in particular) and fake marriage. Nothing about him to get excited about, other than he dumped his affiliation with the GOP.
