Kudos to her. We could use a little more “stand up for the truth” journalism in all media.

Putin takes the “blame the victim for the rape” tact (also known as the “she made me hit her” excuse.

What a pathetic excuse for human being Putin is.

this isn’t much different than guns (supposedly used to equip a well regulated militia) from getting into the hands of mass shooters.

Russia has denied having anything to do with the attack.

If there is such a thing as a non-denial–denial then that’s what I’m hearing from the Russians. You could fly a Boeing 777 between their obfuscating.

I can’t tell if Abby Martin is a brilliant, clear minded truth teller or a deluded, self-important, true believer.

Time, i suppose, will tell.

Putin is a product of the old KGB. I have often wondered what combination of talents it must take to rise through the ranks to a senior position wielding absolute power–I am guessing that extraordinary empathy for the suffering of others is not one of those talents. Putin was one of the old apparachiks who was dismayed at the dissolution of the old Soviet Union. After the economic fiasco that was ushered in through Boris Yeltsin, it is obvious that Putin and his cronies saw an opening and an opportunity that they could not resist–since that time, Putin has enriched and empowered a whole cabal of oligarchs to support and depend on him. This is a classic pattern in Russian history. It is now obvious that the problem with the Russian revolution wasn’t communism, per se, it was Russians themselves. Monarchy, Communist Absolutism or Platonic Oligarchy–it always seems to turn out the same way, in the end.

Well, it gives RT credibility to have internal people be critical. Just like Fox hired Juan Williams when he seemed to be a liberal; shows how fair and balanced they supposedly are.

Now this woman’s words may be sincere and she make not be a scheming KGB propagandist. But in the result, she is serving the cause. Putin sure lacks the knack, but Russian pros are true masters in the art of sophisticated propaganda. Don’t sell them short.

You actually watch the drivel, and so much as to be thinking about the names and intentions of individual propagandists?

You need to get out more; maybe start a hobby.

You seem nice.

RT actually has some very interesting cultural stuff that I enjoy. Profiles on the indigenous people of Siberia, for example. Its kind of like watching the National Geographic channel, but you can never trust their news.
