And in a slightly different take, I wish the Gipper was still around. He would speak out on Trump’s lack of values and his anti-democratic actions. While Reagan was on the opposite side of about 95% of what I believe in, he believed that American had an important roll in the world, and it was not “America First” While he certainly was of his era (I am not saying he was forward thinking…), he believed in everyone having a shot, which is NOT what the republican party stands for now.
Were he alive, he would have put country ahead of party.
So sad that Reagan is looking good in contrast.
And both Bushie’s, Richard Nixon, Pol Pot, Stalin, Genghis Khan, Attila,the Hun, etc. etc.
Not sure about Pol Pot and Stalin, but Genghis Khan did have some redeeming values, and Both Bushie’s and Nixon would be peachy keen about now…
