Lame excuses – he’s been pooh-poohing the allegations for awhile, but continuing to point fingers at Sen. Baldwin. Both fell down on their jobs but Sen. Johnson is particularly odious in his conduct here.

Gonna take a lot of Koch money to get this dumbass reelected. Not that I’m not confident he’ll get it, of course.

Ron’s got 'em!

ā€˜Never did claim to be the Get THEM Done senator. It: I consistently said IT! Go to the video.’

This idiot is a walking, talking embarrassment for my beautiful adopted state.

Russ, please take this senate race seriously, campaign your ass off and, although I love your sense of honor, you must give it up in some way in the face of the truckloads of Koch money for their stoopid puppet.

TPM:

ā€œYou have to understand what happens here, in between Congresses. There’s a high level of churn within offices. Actually, two of these people on these email chains voluntarily left for other opportunities, other offices. And so, you’ve got to understand the reality of the situation,ā€ Johnson said.

ā€œAlso,ā€ Johnson added, ā€œI was busy signing letters to Iran.ā€

I don’t think he will. Republicans have far too many seats to defend; this guy is #1 on the list to be cut loose and fend for himself. Particulary if, as it appears is going to happen, Feingold goes for a rematch.

I’ll say it again and drop it for the day: somebody needs to show me a plan where Russ Feingold defeats the Kochtopus Empire’s candidate in the state that’s now elected Scott Walker three times by pretending like McCain-Feingold is still in effect. Because I’m having a hard time envisioning it.

I agree…if anyone is toast its this guy. This is a ready made ad waiting to happen. I think many in WI have buyers remorse…Russ Feingold should blow him out of the water…but Johnson is wealthy and can self finance…but you cant buy your way out of your record

I think I speak for the the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party in Wisconsin-adjacent states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota in saying Russ Feingold is going to get a lot of grassroots help and money for 2016. With no gov races and the only Senate elections being Grassley and Durbin (both probably unbeatable), I’d like to think Feingold is going to have people from all over this area itching to help him get back in the saddle. I’ve already sent money, and I hope you will, too. In addition to his own campaign committee, he has the Progressives United PAC. Help build the base.

Precisely what I hope you’ll be doing after the people fire you in November 2016.

Ron Johnson is so stupid he makes Michele Bachmann look reasonably bright.

766 churches in Wasilla serve less than 10,000 population, or one for less than every ten people… many more bars than average too. So folks there are mostly going to church and bars but not necessarily in that order. This is 40 miles away from my home in Anchorage.

See NY Magazine:

Ron Johnson’s WI: Land of woulda, coulda, shouldas.

Yeah. Same margin by which Hagan was beating Tillis, despite being the hated Obamacrat, until the Koch money flowed into the state and the concern-trolly adds about the ACA went up.

I’m not saying there’s a better candidate for the race or a better person for the job. I’m just saying I want to see some people act like they’re worried. A lot.

Just realized my pronoun’s object was unclear. By ā€œit,ā€ I was referring to the giant pile of Koch money, not reelected. The money is a foregone conclusion. The election is not, my concern notwithstanding.
