Rockefeller only held out the shoe: Rick Santorum’s replacement as dumbest man in the Senate is the one who stuck his foot into it.

The sooner they realize God has nothing to do with it, the better.

I know it is kinda confusing Senator, but try to focus and see if you can follow along ,
He was not saying that you are a racist because you oppose the health care program.
but he was saying that, based upon a consistent pattern of behavior, it appears that you have a strong racially based opposition to anything and everything related to this president.

Ron Johnson is not a racist. He’s a jerkoff.

I think it’s very odd that the opposition in this instance claims that ACA is “an assault on our freedoms” but the Patriot Act wasn’t!! Boy, that’s a real head-scratcher! Ensuring that all Americans have access to affordable health care vs. unfettered power to spy, kill, detain, torture, and keep all of it clandestine.

Yeah, the ACA is destroying freedom.

What Big Johnson told Jay after the mics were shut off “… and you people (Jay and Barack) should know your place and accept the natural order of things. There’s going to be some changes in here come November…”

I don’t know why Democrats tolerate the GOP saying things like ‘they’re assaulting our freedoms’ and ‘destroying our country’ and ‘communist fascist’ and the like… and yet back down from saying something as simple as ‘your party is motivated by racism, hate and money’ - a statement which, unlike most GOP claims, there is actually supporting evidence for.

I didn’t think Senators were supposed to address each other in the first person. Something about decorum.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

I am not going pretend that I know if race played a role, but if Democrats had refused to work with a Repug POTUS during a financial crisis, their patriotism would have been impugned just like it was after 9/11 if a Democrat didn’t want to go along with their radical changes to the Constitution when the “Patriot” Act was rammed through Congress, and the unnecessary war in Iraq was provoked.

Ron Johnson is attempting to use “outrage” merely as a political tactic to score points. He is failing.

“How dare you look at my past statements regarding this president, which, out of context, would be racist, and use them to infer that I am a racist.”

It’s okay to call the president a socialist Muslim terrorist who hates America and passed a law that assaults freedoms and by the way we’re not really sure he was born here but how DARE you call me a racist.

Someone get me my fainting couch and smelling salts; I’m going to feign outrage!

If every election of the past three decades (include this years) your party uses the ’bigotry, misogyny, homophobia and xenophobia card’ to gin up the base – he should be grateful that’s all Jay implied

God musta caused his mother to drop him on his head as a child…several times apparently. Either that or he fell out of the Stupid Tree and hit every branch on the way down…
