Well, of course he is! He’s probably also still soliciting bribes to set up meetings with Trump.
If anything, he may be over-qualified.
What the eff does he have on them? They ditched everyone else at the first whiff of scandal.
Of course, if he’s been helping to keep the books.
We would expect no less!
The GOP is a criminal enterprise. Their main lobbying firm, the NRA is a criminal enterprise. Their political leader Donald Trump is a criminal enterprise. None of this should be surprising, they’re all complicit and guilty in criminal activity of and related to how we govern.
If they weren’t, they would have long distanced themselves from Trump, the NRA, Russian intervention in our elections and would actively be working to clean up their party and the country. They’re complicit.
This is the GOP. Bimbos and traitors.
Kayleigh is just auditioning for Blonde-in-the-Middle on Fox & Friends.
This glorified coffe-boy position probably did give him access to the excess loot from the $126M Inaugural Haul. Nobody claims to know what happened to it, and everybody knows it wasn’t completely spent. I speculate that Cohen funneled it to youknowwho.
McEnany went on to explain that, while the unwanted legal attention made it inconvenient for Cohen to continue in his duties managing the party’s slush funds, he would regain his former responsibilities and his name would be returned to the party’s website once it was established that Cohen was no longer the subject of an investigation.
There is a couple of simple reasons for this.
- The RNC has no shame. They don’t care their finance chair is under a active federal investigation not do they care how this appears to outsiders…
- Cohen is also a RNC fixer and knows where the bodies are. The RNC don’t want to bring in a new replacement and have to reveal their vulnerabilities to anyone else.
This vapid little empty piece of fluff keeps failing upwards. After continued episodes on CNN, where besides showing she was slightly dumber than Jeffery Lord (which is saying a lot) was on the verge of crying every time someone pointed out that she didn’t have a clue what she was saying, she gets a job as the RNC Spox??
From Wikipedia
“Nixon’s Vice President, Spiro Agnew had accepted payments from contractors during his time as a Maryland official, and the payments had continued into his time as vice president. … On October 10, 1973, Agnew pled no contest to a single felony charge of tax evasion, resigned his office, and was replaced by House Minority Leader Gerald Ford.”
Well there’s precedent anyway.
“Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany said Friday morning that Michael Cohen remains a deputy finance chair at the RNC despite the fact that he’s under criminal investigation.“
McEnany added that Cohen’s participation in funneling bribes to Trump and hush money to his victims is a key RNC goal: “Cohen can’t leave. He’s our best fixer”, she explained.
Has Mrs. Greenspan breathlessly opined, “Well, Chuck, it’s the APPEARANCE of impropriety that also matters!” yet, like she did every time Hillary farted in a public park?
“I have concerns about the violation of attorney-client privilege, and when the Southern District of New York invaded his office, swept up material, violating the President’s privacy, his clients’ privacy, Michael Cohen’s privacy. So that’s where my concerns lie,” McEnany said.
Money laundering, influence peddling, foreign money campaign finance violations, bribes, hush money, rampant corruption, tax evasion, threats, goon tactics - not so much a concern or problem for us.
We have only the best foxes guarding the hen house.
So as deputy finance chair he has no attorney-client privilege with respect to the GOP? Hmm.
I know one thing for sure: you will never hear Kayleigh say a word about Michael Avenatti. He would make mincemeat out of her, since she is even dumber than Michael Cohen, and that’s like being dumber than the coffee table.
At least when the coffee table takes a position, it stands on it.
