Keep the books, cook the books, whatever…
She came from the same factory as Ivanka and Melania. You can tell by the squinty eyes.
Of course, there are things like this …
In Mr. Cohen’s office on the 26th floor, he and the oligarch, Viktor Vekselberg, discussed a mutual desire to strengthen Russia’s relations with the United States under President Trump, according to Andrew Intrater, an American businessman who attended the meeting and invests money for Mr. Vekselberg. The men also arranged to see one another at the inauguration, the second of their three meetings, Mr. Intrater said.
Days after the inauguration, Mr. Intrater’s private equity firm, Columbus Nova, awarded Mr. Cohen a $1 million consulting contract, a deal that has drawn the attention of federal authorities investigating Mr. Cohen, according to people briefed on the inquiry.
Sorry, Ms. Thang. They did not “invade” his office or steal his papers or violate his rights. They had this little thing called a “warrant”, issued by this person called a “judge”.
But your “concerns” are duly noted.
I must say, though, that I am amazed by Ms. McEnany, since I never knew dandruff had the ability to talk.
“It is still the case,” McEnay told livestreaming news network Cheddar when asked if Cohen remained as an RNC official. “You know, there’s ongoing litigation, and we’ll take it step by step.”
i’ll prolly regret this one, but previously on ‘Ronna !’
“During three-decades worth of sexual harassment allegations, Harvey Weinstein lined the pockets of Democrats to the tune of three quarters of a million dollars. If Democrats and the DNC truly stand up for women like they say they do, then returning this dirty money should be a no brainer,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement.

30 years and only $750 K?
Cohen can get that much for the RNC from a foreign oligarch before lunch.
With a cut for him and the Boss, of course.
We are still recruiting traitors, bribe collectors, sexual predators, rapists, pedophiles, criminals and skanks to staff the Republican party and occupy the highest offices in the land.
I bought up those two, because while Wynn and Cohen’s odd activity is different, Cohen is the second (?) person, that the modern day GOP has claimed that he deserved due process.
Exactly. It would be more appropriate to say that he’s still the finance chair because of the criminal probe.
With each passing day, I am more and more convinced that the RNC is not only involved in the cover-up, but also deeply involved in the underlying crimes.
You have to admit she’s a perfect fit, though.
The comedy writes itself…
or competing with Tomi L. for being the fourth Mrs. DJT-in waiting
I’m willing to bet Rosenstein did Cohen and Trump a favor by pulling off that search warrant which Cohen most likely knew about in advance. The last thing Trump and Cohen wanted was for Cohen to testify under oath in the Stormy Daniels civil trial. With being indicted, Cohen can now plead the fifth. The SARs gave Rosenstein the perfect cover for a phony investigation that will go no place. I’m unlike the rest here, I have seen nothing that Rosenstein has really done to hurt Trump. He has bent over backwards to accommodate Trump since day one. Sessions and Rosenstein could put a world of hurt on Trump and his most of his administration if they were so inclined. They’re not doing so because they were both chosen by Trump to have his back. Sure, Trump and the media want you think Rosenstein is in constant jeopardy of being fired. Otherwise, if the truth were known, it would be pretty boring and predictable. Can’t sell a lot of stories that way. Besides, Trump loves nothing more than getting revenge for those of us who hate him being in office. Giving us false hope and having us read up to a dozen Trump related stories every day is a great revenge.
If Mueller comes out with 25 more indictments, they will be mostly Russians or people who mean diddly shit. Like Rosenstein said, Mueller is not an unguided missile.
When Rocket man said he was still willing to talk yesterday, I figured Pompeo, Trump and Kim Jong Un prearranged this drama to maximize Trump’s ratings when the summit actually happens. After all, if you’re Trump, it’s all about ratings and staying in the news cycle every day. The Summit will happen and it will have drama, lots of drama until it happens. It will be the mother of all summits.
Got to have drama for ratings.
Yes, I’m a tiresome skeptic. Time will prove me right or wrong.
The GOP War on Decency has been ongoing throughout almost all of my life. It’s opening salvo may have been the Business Plot, but the post WW2 champion was Joe McCarthy.
I expect it will have to end in their total, ignominious, never-to-rise-again defeat.

[/quote]Interesting take on things. Do you think it’s like there’s some double-reverse deep state shenanigans going on? With quite a few people in on the plan? Because the evidence that’s coming out might make that difficult to pull off. As you say, time will tell. But, I still think the truth is on our side - and at least 60% of it will come out.
Besides, they’re not that smart.
You’re assuming a whole lot of devious cleverness on the part of not only Rosenstein (which could be possible) but Trump and Cohen, which the evidence clearly shows they are not capable of.
Nobody seems to have brought up how Cohen got this position in the first place. The other deputy finance chair was Broidy, who has been a big donor and donor wrangler for a long time. But as far as I can see, Cohen had zero to do with Republican politics (or politics at all for that matter) until Trump started running, and then he started looking to do deals/bribes in Ukraine in partnership with Broidy, as Josh outlined in the podcast this week. Is he just installed there by Trump and Broidy as a favor so he can pick up bribes? Maybe someone can ask Ronna about this?
