Yeah, Jack, that language definitely crossed the line; no hedging your question.

…sometimes, it’s not what you say, but it’s how you say it.

And sometimes it’s both. This is one of those times.

A not exactly eloquent but I’d bet heartfelt plea to return to the coded language and dog whistles that sufficed in the past.

Not that I’m in the practice of giving Republicans useful advice, but here goes:

You want to do better with the Latino electorate? Stop talking about them. I mean, at all. Don’t mention them in any way, at any time. Just zip it. It’s the only way something stupid and insulting won’t come out of your mouths.

Rancid Penis slams the GOP barn door with great force….long after the racist Republican animals have escaped.

Far too little–much, much too late.

To be more accurate;

See: barn door, TALKING about closing but leaving open when is already out.

Just the fact that this Michael Steele wanna-be says those words should tell one and all just where the problem lies (hint … it’s not with the Hispanics).

If the rhetoric that your party’s base enjoys makes the speaker sound like an awful person, maybe the problem is that your party’s base enjoys awful policies.

“So, look, I think, at the end of the day, each candidate is going to be accountable for their own words and their own mouth,” he continued. “And so they should proceed with caution”

No, dude, I don’t believe you fully understand all the implications: The whole GOP will be held accountable for the hate words and lies that come out of the mouths of anyone garnering the numbers – and that seems to be pretty much all of them. Trump, Carson, Walker, Cruz, Fiorina. You folks are in for a trouncing. Thank Goddess.

Insults and attacks plague GOP Race …
Cause this is the GOP.The Present DAy version of it.After 3-4 decades of shifting to the right and embracing whacko far right christian extremists this is the GOP and if you think they will get better dream on.
These guys will now shift more and more to the right as they have been doing.Their speeches are mostly appeals to the most ignorant/uninformed people…a scam on those people.

Reince, the solution to your party’s conundrum is simple…so simple you should’ve been able to reason it out but you failed.
In a rational world if you expect someone to vote for your candidate then treat that voter with some respect. Generally when your candidates call a group criminals, rapists, drug mules with calves the size of cantaloupes that group gets insulted and stays that way until the insult is rectified somehow. But no, your party keeps doing it. Day after day. And it has happened so frequently that the opportunity to fix it is slipping away.
Note I said in a “rational world”. With the entry of Trump rationality has been tossed out the window.
Yours is the party of bigotry, stupidity, meanness, willful ignorance, and denial of science and reason. And it deserves to be tossed into the dustbin of history. Abraham Lincoln would be embarrassed at what the GOP has become.

So far the Sunday morning Republican talking points are this:

Rinse Pubis: Don’t talk about Hispanics, at least out loud where polite society can hear you.

Crispy Creme: Don’t read newspapers, at least the ones casting a negative shadow on my governorship because “I am not a crook”.

Doctor Doom: Don’t allow Muslims into the country, at least the “bad ones” because they’re all terrorists who’ll produce anchor babies.

Governor of Walkerstan: Don’t trust our President because leadership means standing up for the Po-po, even when they shoot black people in the back because you might hurt their fee-fees if you do.

Any oldish-school Republican who wishes to save the party should gather any and all like-minded rational, reasonable (I know there are a few but, by and large, they just keep their mouths shut) party operative and make long-term plans to split from the true crazies. I have no idea if they’d need to look for another name altogether or if they can force the crazies to form their own party, but they have been circling the bowl for a long while now. It’s only a matter of time–from what I see, I’d say in a decade or less–before they go down the commode all the way.

Didn’t Reince the Dense lecture his unruly fellow Rs on a previous occasion and didn’t they ignore him then? It would be far bolder to say clearly “Latinos will not vote for us because of what the candidates are saying especially Trump.” No more equivocating, or mealy mouthing, just the facts.

“Insults and attacks plague GOP race” the screen banner says. OK. let me fix that …
“GOP race is a Plague of insults and attacks on America and its citizens”

That’s a lot of Don’ts with a complete absence of Let’s, and very similar to the style of the fear mongering of the dubya administration.
