Discussion: RNC Blasts Dems' Voter Intimidation Court Filing As 'Completely Meritless'

Except it isn’t, Ass-cheese. You and your petulant, child cronies have been playing this tune all election season.

“Just as in all prior elections in which the consent decree was in effect, the RNC strictly abides by the consent decree and does not take part directly or indirectly in any efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud.”

Where does one even start? (sigh)

“The RNC remains focused on getting out the vote,” Walters said.

Someone at RNC/Trump is not telling the truth. From another TPM front page article this morning:

“We have three major voter suppression operations under way,” an unnamed senior campaign official told Bloomberg.

A focus on Clinton’s WikiLeaks e-mails is dedicated to turning away young white former supporters of Sen. Bernie Senders (I-VT); highlighting women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct is aimed at undermining her appeal with young women; and her 1996 reference to some black gang members as “superpredators” is meant to suppress the vote among African American voters.

Start with “Why was the decree necessary in the first place? And why are you so eager to be out from under it’s thumb?”

Renew it for 8 years?
No thanks.
I’ll take 150, please.

No there are not!

If the repukes didn’t already break voter laws, you wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place!

The RNC has denied any collaboration, a denial Walters reiterated in her statement, which said that the RNC does not “coordinate with the Trump campaign or any other campaign or party organization in any efforts they may make in this area.”

So that PA GOP ‘free speech’ lawsuit, that’s just a state level assist, right?

I will give her that: “Nobody coordinates with the Trump campaign” seems obvious…

according to that brief, that belief is an assumption. Now I’m not saying that Sean Spicer sits in on ‘dark ops’ that Bannon might be running, but it shouldn’t shock anyone that some of his ideas are part of the Trump final push.

Trump: “Nobody coordinates me !”

Well, it’s true that the GOP does nothing to prevent or remedy voter fraud. But since the consent decree is about voter intimidation that’s pretty much irrelevant.

If anything, the GOP works to further election fraud, but most of it efforts involve fraudulently excluding voters.

I’m sure the RNC is pretty confident about winning this one. All they need do is, after the videos are played and the websites are displayed, have Dence shake his head and say, “That’s nonsense.”

Case closed.

As he steps aboard his riverboat to cruise up de nile.

I don’t typically like it when people say if this was a Democrat or if this was a Republican when there is some hijinks because it’s seldom that simple, but if Democrats were being accused of election fraud and manipulation this close to an election, and subject to a court filing, it would be 24/7 on Fox and hate radio, at minimum. I’ve got to think it would be a much larger story. We are hearing more about the unsubstantiated vote flipping in Texas on big media than this story by a lot.

Didn’t some Trump staffer admit to 3 different major voter suppression campaigns just today?

As true as this might be, it is not what RNC spokeswoman Lindsay Walters actually said. She claimed that “the RNC … does not take part directly or indirectly in any efforts to prevent or remedy vote fraud.” Of course, this claim is patently false.
