Rand, in return, mocked Santorum as a “frothy dog-fluffer”
I’ve never assumed that Rick isn’t running again.
As a frothy mixture, when would he not be running?

What a terrible combination. The conservatives at Politico and the lack of common sense crowd Santorum represents. Somehow they stumbled over Romney in the flip-flop comparison. Neocons taking a knee shot at Paul.
Have at it, guys.
Every day Rick Santorum isn’t one of its Senators is a great day for Pennsylvania.
We should all contribute money to Santorum’s campaign to keep him viable. He does a lot of good siphoning off Shelly Adelson’s money while driving the Republican field to the icky right. Rand Paul will never get any of Adelson’s money because he did not support Israel 100% until about a year ago, as opposed to when he was in second grade, like Santorum. Adelson’s money is best used running the Republican field into and off of the shoulder of the political road with Santorum at the wheel.
EEEWWwww!!#$43!!!
But we’d hafta endure those damned sweater vests again…
Santorum’s op-ed was titled, “Will the Real Rand Paul Please Stand Up?” He opened: “The Kentucky senator is trying to tell us he’s not an isolationist. That dog won’t hunt.”
OMG I agree with Mr. Santorum.
/feeling dizzy, must lie down now.
(((shuddering)))
Nobody who isn’t Waylon Jennings should be saying this.
Especially if you’re a whiny misfit from Pennsylvania.
I am rooting for Rick Santorum to be the next Republican nominee. Conservatives routinely anoint the losers from the previous presidential primary cycle as their nominee for the next election. I think that a Bachman-Santorum ticket would be excellent. Bachman would have won the nomination if Ron Paul had not cheated her out victory in Iowa through bribery and caucus shenanigans.
Rick Santorum penned a blistering…
Just stop right there. Delete that last word and try again.
It’s Rick Santorum. He can smarm, he can squeak, he can cluck, he can frown, he can even froth, but he can’t blister.

Is a frothy tan surge of Santorum.
Let us pray to our respective God–be it Zeus, Cthulhu, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster All-Carby–that Frothy Rick gives in to hubris, and runs third-party.
As a frothy mixture, when would he not be running?
Seriously? Given the level of vitriol directed against the right for their mindless assaults and childish name-calling, I would like to think that posters on a site such as this one would be able to do a better job of staying focused on policies and actual issues without degenerating to this level of behind the school shed smirking.
Pity I’m wrong…
I’m not fan of Rand Paul but it may be better to be a flip flopper, or at the very least flexible on policy, rather than locked into a rigid 1954 mentality.
PlayIt, I am pleased to see your comment. It is rare here, in my experience, to see somebody call the TPM commentariat on being childish, in precisely this way, all too often. Just think of all the Christie fat jokes. Devolving to this form of cheap humor belittles us more than the object of our jokes, seems to me.
I’m really not trying to be a prude nor pretending to be a saint. Sometimes I spit my coffee at a particularly clever Christie fat joke, too - it’s so fun! But I don’t think this is the best of us, nor helpful to our cause.
