It looks like it was Rohrabacher. Manafort gave a donation to him within a few weeks after the meeting.
This is clearly a vast left-wing conspiracy by Adobe and Microsoft to take down fine men like Gates and Manafort!
Remarkably the alleged false statement was made by Gates to the Special Counselâs Office and the FBI on Feb. 1, months after the original indictment was issued, according to the information. That suggests Gates lied in the course of plea negotiations. His lawyers moved to withdraw from the case the same day.
Good lord. These fuckinâ guysâŚ
Love me two times, baby
Love me twice today
Love me two times, girl
Iâm goinâ away
Love me two times, girl
One for tomorrow
One just for today
Love me two times
Iâm goinâ away
At the very least Manafort is toast.
No contact, no communication, no collusion in this conspiracy though. No collusion, no collusion.
This is all going to make a great movie one day.
I had the same song in my head!
I look forward to the book and I hope Mueller goes the Bugliosi route and writes one himself. I was riveted by Helter Skelter when I read it many years ago.
Mueller: âThe Nut CrackerâŚSweet!â
The tough part will be finding the narrative thread that leads you through it. It really is a vast conspiracy with a lot of moving parts. Casting will be tough too. Hard to think of many people whoâve had acting careers who look like Mitch McConnell.
Are Gates and Manafort possibly up for any crimes in Ukraine?
Is Mueller able to promise that someone wonât get extradited to somewhere else for related crimes? (Aside from keeping him in a US prison)
Me too! I remember very distinctly reading it, and that was quite a while ago. (During the period when I could still make new memories.)
Thanks for thisâŚit is heartening.
Yeah. I found that error ironic in light of the complaint about copy-editing.
Weâre well on our way to Watergate territory here. Nixonâs Noobs set the bar at 40, Donnieâs Derps can surely do better than that!

Sadly, of the ones who could write it: Halberstam is dead (gone too young), Bernstein doesnât seem to be writing much anymore, and Woodward has been an utter shill ever since Watergate ended.
Fascinating bit in the last line of the information filed by Mueller (basically the charging doc for the guilty plea: It shows Manafort lying to the lawyer he hired for Foreign Agent Reporting Act issues about whether Ukraine was discussed at a meeting with a member of Congress. Itâs never a good idea to lie to your own lawyer, something I imagine Trump has done on a near constant basis.
