Discussion: Richard Haass: Restaurant Booting Sanders 'Violates Spirit' Of Civil Rights Act

Oh, I don’t know. I ran a “bar” once and the girls had better be picking up a “date” or they most certainly were out on their ear.

In other words, it is all ok if you are a REPUG…

But that bar was on the wrong side of the tracks.

"He went on to call the restaurant
owner’s decision “politically counterproductive,” a marker of “the
descent of America into tribalism” and “dangerous.”

Perhaps if you have been more vocal on this issue as it was being created in 2002, we would find you more credible in your sadness and minatory tone.

“We should not take for granted the fact that this has essentially been a peaceful democracy, and our differences have never gotten bigger than what we could handle in a peaceful way. This is the sort of the thing that makes me uneasy about some of the trajectory of this country, and I think it’s serious.”

Though he would again use the word, essentially, this is a country in which these events have happened:

Though the Red Hen incident could lead to bigger ripples, the aforementioned events are still bigger than what we are seeing now and its not 2020 yet.

Some of the most boring people in the world are those that have never spent time on the wrong side of the tracks.

The owner put her employees’ priorities and her own which included being non discriminatory and not hating gays ahead of business concerns. Maybe it’ll catch on. Sanders thought she’d be safe 120 miles away from D.C. She wasn’t.

I knew a bartender who was trying to get a working girl to exit the joint, she wouldn’t budge, so he finally took her handbag and tossed it out on the street. She followed it pronto.

That sounds rather lovely.

The second place runner braided her hair tightly to reduce wind resistance.”

“It’s a shame that this kind of thing is ruining the noble and pure world of sport.”

“And now, a word from our sponsors Koch Industries…”

(A) Law doesn’t matter anymore. If it doesn’t apply to Donald or to Pruitt or to Russians, it sure as hell doesn’t apply to the rest of us.

(B) The restaurant totally honors the spirit of America’s founding principles. Government is subservient to the people.

Officials like Sanders, Pruitt, Trump, Conway and all the others may have authority without conscience, but they are not owed anything, especially not deference for their perverted policy of torturing children.

Mister Haess, this country has always engaged in dangerous tribalism thats stretched to the point of apocalyptic survivalism.

If it hadn’t engaged in these ways, then this nation would be governed by a monarch in London, as opposed to a joker living near the Potomac.

Lefty snowflakes are saying we should stop trashing nutso RWNs because we’ll just drive them to the polls in further support of the occupant. To which we have prove them wrong by showing up in even bigger numbers.

If Haass is going to complain about the divide in this country then he needs to be clear on who started it and who has promulgated it and fed it and continues to - the Ratwing started it with the Culture Wars. Trump has taken it to the nth degree. He talks constantly about “His people” and laughs openly at the rest of America and what we want.

We did not divide the country. They did. So now they feel the heat - good!

I love the GOP arbitrary determining who can and cannot exercise their constitutional 1st amendment rights…
