ā€œā€¦and we have McConnell who continues to fail to lift the filibuster,ā€¦ā€

There you have it. Mitch is next. After that, they just need to find a way to take that pesky President of the United States out of the loop and theyā€™ll CONTROL EVERYTHING!

(cue maniacal laughter here)

Psst teabaggies, the only answer is 3rd party.

That headline threw me.

I did not realize that Republicans ā€œwonderedā€ about anything.

Peter King (R-NY) said on CNN. ā€œItā€™s a signal that the crazies have taken over the party.ā€
King is one of those ā€œcraziesā€ .

Iā€™m not so sure. When someone is flailing about, like say, someone totally hopped up on meth, anyone can get hurt in the process.

Will Kicking Boehner To The Curb Change Anything?

Actually, his departure can change a lot - for the worse. I doubt McCarthy has enough backing in the House and I believe Hensarling will push for the top spot big time. If it gets to the point where all the top House leaders are actively a part of the batsh*t crazy wing, look for things to spiral out of control.

No, four or 5 parties, at least!!

We need the Tea Party, the Real Tea Party, the Continuity Tea Party, the Original Tea Party, the Conservative Genuine Tea Party, the American Tea Party, the ā€˜Iā€™m So Tea Party I Shit Pictures Of Ronald Reaganā€™ Tea Party, and a few more at least!

And they have to all run, in every district and every race, all across the country! And never reconcile with each other!

ā€œ[The next GOP Speaker] is going to have to wonder if he or she is the next person to lose their head.ā€

Now thereā€™s a live event that would sell tickets.

Probably pack the mall even more than the Pope.

do you suppose any of them ever read ā€˜Lord of the Fliesā€™ or ā€˜Animal Farmā€™?

Iā€™ve long touted the guillotine as the kindest way to execute someone - to deaf ears. Perhaps promoting it as a revenue producing tourist attraction is the answer. Of course, every small town mayor will want one to keep taxes down!

AFTER they make it so hard on Boner that he canā€™t lead (I know, he never really could) they wonder what will happen. Kinda like AFTER we invade Iraq they wonder why things have spiraled in the Middle East.

So now we are to witness a ā€œBolshevikā€-ā€œMenshevikā€ propaganda-pissing contest within the House GOP caucus?

The RepubliCANT Party are becoming to be the party of isolationists and that desire will not stand with the American Peopleā€¦no matter how they are determined to twist their lies!

King is a hard-core conservative, but he is not shut-down nihilist crazy. McCarthy (R-Bakersfield, Bonerā€™s likely successor according to King) would like to be a shut-down nihilist, as was his minion McClintock (R-Roseville, Flammable Woodlands, and Westland Irrigation District) but the agbiz paymasters wonā€™t allow it and the constituents donā€™t careā€”last week McClintock followed the orders of McCarthy and their agbiz bosses and resigned from the scalp-hunting Freedom Caucus.

Poor pitiful McCarthy: dumb, bought, and with a great big target on his back.

Need more popcorn.

To be clear, Pelosi and my long-time hero Garamendi (D-the Delta) have always ā€œcarried waterā€ for Cal agribusiness, as does Jerry Brown, as did his great father Pat Brown. Which gives Big Ag a stick with which to wallop McC*.

If McClintock doesnā€™t do what heā€™s told, he doesnā€™t get the teevee money for the expensive Sacramento market, and he has to move back to Southern California (from his cushy digs in D.C.), which is the only thing keeping the unpopular Carpetbagger in office. The horrorā€¦

Man, Republicans just complain and complain and complain about that damn pesky filibuster. Theyā€™ve been complaining about it for soooooooo long. Like, since January.
